Lotus Garden Chinese Cuisine — Restaurant in Apache Junction

This may be the best Chinese in Apache Junction, but in reality it definitely does not deserve 4.5 stars... The service itself was fine but the food was sub-par at best. Portion sizes are good for the price. It’s the flavors that are off..

The “Crab Puff” has no crab, I’m aware it says cream cheese on the menu but you need to change the name if it doesn’t have ANY crab in it at all.

The Beef and Broccoli was very bland.

The Chow Mein is dried noodles, not fresh fried noodles. Was super disappointed in that. Idk why restaurants serve Chow Mein like that, even Panda Express fries their noodles and tosses it with the vegg.

Egg drop soup was alright, decent flavor, good amount of egg, too much corn though.

The sweet and sour sauce has an odd flavor to it also, couldn’t figure it out.

I thought it was pretty rad that they start you off with wonton chips though!

Overall, we won’t be back, but it wasn’t the worst place in the world. I’ll just stick with my hole in the wall...

I came here for the first time and the service was excellent. The bathroom was clean and tidy and food came quickly and was hot and fresh and had generous portions at a reasonable price.

I gave 4 stars because although the food was really fresh and crispy, the meat inside was overcooked and dry. It was a bit disappointing, to be honest. I wasn't able to eat at least half of it and it was my favorite dish that I use to judge new Chinese places by... then if it is good, I continue to come to the place and try other things.

Sadly, this did not make me want to come here and try other things. If I happen to be in the area, I might stop again, but it won't be something I seek out, as it is kind of out of the way for me anyway as it is.

The servers were happy and cheerful and made it a nice experience, but the food itself doesn't...

I ordered ahead due to being in a time crunch. I arrived at the estimated time they have given me. My food was done and sitting on the table. Tried to grab it to show it was ours and the lady told us to put it back and she proceeded to help all the 4 customers in front of us. I really hate when my food sits around longer than it has to. Finally when I got to the register I told the lady that I don’t like when my food just sits there because food quality is important and she didn’t say anything or seem to care and she didn’t say sorry either. I’m not okay with my food just sitting there. Cooked food should be prioritized by a food place. People in line havnt even ordered their food. I don’t mind WAITING in line for stuff. I’m annoyed at the concern for food quality and lack of concern. I’m not...
