The night manager seems unfamiliar with handling online delivery services and how to correctly utilize the associated technology for these services. They were unfortunately out of what it was I wanted, no big deal, however the night manager neglected to inform to delivery service that the restaurant would be out the item for the remainder of the night. So I was able to place my order on the deliver services app without any issues or notice that my order could not be completed due to the item not being available! In addition to neglecting to inform the delivery service of the restaurant being out of the item, the night manager also failed to inform the delivery driver that my order could not be fully completed. Had the night manager informed the delivery driver of the issue the driver would have had the opportunity to contact me before leaving the restaurant to inquire about my preferred substitution. When I contacted the restaurant, the night manager was already aware of the item that was missing from my order and told me that the restaurant had stoped serving what I wanted. He also claimed that the restaurant had no way of contacting the delivery service to inform them of the items unavailability. In my experience this is untrue. At a minimum, restaurants who have contracts with today's modern delivery services generally have a support phone numbers they can call to inform the delivery service about any issues with any orders or any unexpected early closers the restaurant might have. The night manager failed at every step along the way in completing my order and properly addressing the issues that arose with it. The night manager first failed by neglecting to inform the delivery service of the restaurants current menu options and ordering conditions. He failed again when he neglected to contact and inform the delivery service that my order could not be fully completed due to the restaurant being out of what I wanted to order. The night manager failed a third time when he neglected to inform the delivery driver that my order was incomplete before the driver left the restaurant. Depriving the driver the opportunity to contact me to try to resolve the issue. At the end of the day it wasn't a big deal but the night managers negligence resulted in a delay in my meal and an extra trip for a delivery driver. Manager should hold themselves to a higher standard and try their best to be proficient and work proactively in...
Read moreI love Wendy’s, it’s easy when you’re on the go. My visit this afternoon started out as a simple mistake that could have been forgiven and forgotten. Dinner time is busy, orders get mixed up, things get forgotten and that’s okay. It’s something that is bound to happen at some point, especially in fast food. My order had been given to the car in front of me, and I was given theirs. I looked in the bag, and handed it back stating that was not my order, again, not a problem, it happens. They were going to need to make a new one anyway. The people that were given my order ended up realizing they had the wrong order and brought it back, again, not a problem..but what was the problem is that they handed them the bag I had just handed back to them and tried to hand me the bag that they brought back... I’ve worked in the food industry, and one of the first things I was taught was when food leaves the kitchen and it gets returned due to a mistake, it goes in the trash and a new one is made. You wouldn’t take a burger that had a bite taken out of it and put it back on the grill...you don’t take fries that have been touched by a consumer and throw them back in the fryer.. I politely asked for new food, although I should have been given new food from the get-go, and they agreed to do so. I was greatly appreciative for a new order, when my bag was given to me, I just checked to make sure it was all there. They forgot my fries, the girl who handed me my food was nice and went to get the fries that were forgotten. The boy managing the drive through orders didn’t hear that my fries were forgotten and without saying a word, his face said it all when he looked at me, “why are you still here?”, again didn’t say anything, because his face did for him. I simply repeated again that my fries were missing and that girl was getting them for me. All could have been done and over with, but the guy with the headset on, for some reason felt the need to say “OH YOU BETTER GET THEIR FRIES” and said it 3 times... what was the point of that? Disgusted and disappointed with the service...
Read moreI really hate wasting time to leave reviews for bad experience, but I've given them the benefit of the doubt soooo many times and it really never gets better, so here I am, so others will know what to expect.
Everytime we go there, the people that end up working the drive-thru give off the impression that we the customer is somehow inconveniencing their day. Every time I get to the window, not matter who is there waiting to take my money, they never say hello, never repeat the total I owe, and simply outreach their hand in complete silence (usually with a look of frustration) for my card or cash. Even after I give it to them and they return it, no thank you, no here is your card, just the same look and complete silence...not even eye contact.
Look, I get it if you're having a bad day, or ever if it's one particular employee that does it, but this is everyone I deal with there, and every time, hence my review.
To add, the nuggets are incredibly inconsistent, as that is all my daughter eats there. Sometimes they are cooked how they should be. A lot of times, they are overcooked and when that is the case, I've wasted money as my little one doesn't eat them (she'd rather go hungry when that is the case).
I decided to give this place a 2 star review only b/c they have a 100 sanitation grade, and that is commendable (and I wanted to add details as to why I continue to visit this location, aside from it being the closest to us). I think I will drive the 3.5 miles to use the next closest location...
