Wine & Design — Attraction in Apex

We did the $25 take home kits that are currently being offered due to COVID. I had a cousin visiting from out of town and this was the perfect little girls’ night activity for my sister, cousin, and I. Kits comes with the outlined canvas, paint, brushes, a mixing plate, paper towels, and basic directions. I set up a little studio for us in my kitchen, and Wine & Design even let me borrow some tabletop easels, so it really felt like the real experience. We had a lot of fun and definitely recommend it. I'm so not an artist but we did pop-in-and-paint as a family activity on a rainy day. Christine was so helpful with setting us up with supplies (and extra plates for mixing, napkins and paint), demoing techniques when we needed help and just being encouraging. It was so therapeutic and relaxing, we didn't realize we spent 3 hours there! Great fun for ages 4 1/2 to 72 (or older). My husband and I attended a class the other night and had an absolutely amazing time! Katelyn, our instructor, was not only incredibly talented but also downright hilarious. She made the entire experience so much fun! We really enjoyed creating something together, and Katelyn guided us through each step with so much patience and care. Her upbeat, bubbly personality instantly put us at ease—especially since neither of us has touched a paintbrush since middle school! We’re already looking forward to taking more classes with her....
