This place was good. We used to go in and get the lunch special. The garlic knots are also great.
BUT what we didn’t realize is we were being charged prices that did not match up with the menu. Why? Well it turns out this owner, before even knowing whether someone is paying with a card or not, and without any display that says otherwise on the menu or when you are dining in, has decided to automatically include a credit card/service charge fee into the prices of all the items individually. So when you get the receipt instead of showing as 4.99 it would show was like 5.18 for example.
I brought this up with our server and they admitted that if I paid in cash it would be the prices on the menu. I asked to speak to the owner. They said the owner was not there. I left my contact info and the owner never contacted me. The server said there is a sign at the cash register at the front, however it does not display the fee. You also do not really see this when dining in. Most places display it on the door or put it on the menu so you can make an informed decision. Either way, it turned me off to this place.
Credit card processing fees are nothing new. They’ve always paid for them. Now, some businesses (this one) want to hide the cost of the meal by upcharging you after you’ve eaten. I disputed this afterwards with the credit card company and they immediately refunded the difference.
I have no problem paying the prices on the menu, but this business is in my opinion illegally adding on charges that are not clearly defined beforehand and the owner has done nothing to fix it.

I called and wanted to set up a an order the lady on the phone was unprofessional and did not care. This could have been a great opportunity for them to partner up with me since we get request like theses for weddings. There's a very popular venue down the street that does HIGH END weddings, I have couples ask me all the time for late night bite ideas. (I'm a caterer and we offer our own late night bites just not pizza)
I asked her for an estimate- $277.03 was the total, which is GREAT!
I proceeded to ask her how can I place an order- I have my clients information and we are able to book this order. She then said I would have to come in the store the day prior to place the order and they would have to swipe the card. I asked if I could come in the day of the event just at an earlier time giving them ample time to make the 20 boxes of pizza. She said NO! We need to swipe the card the day before and you would have to come in by noon (Friday).
I continued to ask her politely why I couldn't come in on Saturday at noon and place the order. My order wouldn't need to be complete until 9pm then she said because we close at 9:30pm or 10pm... (I don't understand how they determine their hours must be when they feel like closing they will close and when they want to stay open they stay open??)
