Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Apopka

Well update is needed we ordered 3 chicken cascades. All were very spicy hot seasoning and unexpected. I've ordered these in the past and they were not as good. Prices are now so outrageous that we just can't justify eating here.

Newest visit - Last visit here was totally a negative experience.. Today it is my pleasure to say....greatly improved!!!

Food - soups and chili along with a fresh salad! Ya buddy!!! So delicious and quick on service. The only con-could improve on salsa it was very runny and no content. Very small issue really we just added pico and fixed it right up.

Thank you Chilis team thank for the hard works. I really appreciated the dinning experience.

Old review -Maybe its just my group. Just maybe others are experiencing the same. Every visit we're less impressed. The price comparison to quality. Lets say we have a big issue here people. The quality of southwestern egg rolls , boneless chicken. The boneless chicken is a joke. No real taste and tough at times. Drench them in hot sauces and blue cheese is my advise. The Chips served with salsa had to be returned on 3 of our last visits. Chips are so greased up , they are transparent. The food especially the hamburgers smell of a old greasy spoon kitchen. Very disturbing that the smell reached your taste bud's and remains afterwards.

Remind you this review is a combination of visits. Lunch and dinner times over several months. Each time hoping for improvements even the slightest. Its with great regret after many years. Of several different locations visited . The impression Chili's become overpriced for its food quality it serving.

At some point your asking worth it? This reviewer and its traveling visitors concluded... Untill the food quality and greasy kitchen smell changes. The prices become more in line.

Time to frequent the...

The food and drinks at Chili's were aggressively average — like, “I could’ve made this at home while half-asleep and still impressed myself more” kind of average. I ordered the Chipotle Fresh Mex Bowl, Blueberry Iced Tea, and the Peanut Butter Pie made with Reese’s (because obviously, peanut butter and Reese’s are my love language ❤️❤️❤️).

Starting with dessert, because I’m still emotionally recovering. That pie? It betrayed me. I came expecting a peanut buttery masterpiece, and instead got a sugar brick wearing a cheesecake costume. It was so sweet my teeth filed a formal complaint. Three of us shared it, and none of us finished, and we’re the type to fight over the last bite. 5/10, and that's me being generous because I love Reese’s and am trying to stay on good terms with them.

The Blueberry Iced Tea had all the bold flavor of someone whispering "blueberry" across a room full of water. Weak. Watery. Sad. 4/10 and that’s only because the ice was cold.

The Chipotle Fresh Mex Bowl was the high point, which is like saying someone was the tallest Smurf. It was fine. It had flavor. I chewed it and didn’t regret it. But again, I could’ve whipped it up at home with a packet of taco seasoning and some optimism. 6/10.

I also stole a few of my niece’s fries. They were fries. They existed. But potatoes deserve better.

If someone invited me back to Chili’s, I’d go because I’m polite and wouldn’t turn down a free meal. But would I recommend it? Only if you’re in the mood for...

I took my Stepmom and my hubby out for dinner tonight to celebrate Mother's Day (late) and Father's Day. I am a member of the Facebook page Apopka Rants, Raves and Reviews. Last week someone posted about "their" experience at this restaurant location and it WASN'T great and of course other's commented on their experiences with THIS location and other Chili's locations and most were NOT complimentary. I just wanted to say our experience tonight (as usual) was exceptional! The greeter was very sweet, polite, friendly and prompt! Our server was Carrie (again) and I have to tell you this young lady is absolutely AWESOME! I have worked every position in the restaurant business and everytime she is our server it's a great experience! She is an exceptional waitress (server) she's prompt, on top of our drinks, bring's the appetizer out promptly or salad (not WITH our meals) she's very sweet, friendly, funny, she makes us feel at home and wanting to come back! Our drinks and food came out (as usual) Hot and Perfect! So again thank you again for another Amazing evening with what always feels like great friend's and family! Special Kudos for Carrie for giving us all another special memory for our book of Chili's adventures! Best Waitress \ Server EVER! SHE is absolutely AWESOME! Just thought you should know in case you don't know already! And yes I'm going to post this on the Apopka Rants, Raves and Reviews page...
