I feel it’s not fair to give this location one star because of what one disrespectful individual has done. We recently moved to this area and the Winn-Dixie liquor store is now our neighborhood location. Normally whenever my husband and I are at this location we receive pretty kind service from the employees. But today was the worst service that we have ever experienced. I could have simply called and reported this to the store manager but according to my receipt "Kim" is the store manager which is an extreme shocker. She's totally a racist. As my husband and I were checking out I asked her opinion on a sell they were having and she looked right at me and ignored me. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and asked again and she yet AGAIN ignored me. I then just proceeded to check out at that time she asked for my ID and I couldn't find it so I asked my husband to present his she looks at it and says... "I STILL NEED TO SEE YOURS" And I made a point by saying you didn't initially ask for his only mine and she AGAIN ignored me. The kind older gentleman next to me obviously sense the tension from the employee and made a joke by saying "well she doesn’t ask for my ID" We laughed and I replied and said "Well I'd ask you for ID" And this woman says "WELL HE WOULDN'T BE BUYING GROCERIES FROM YOU" I replied WOW!!! At that point I was over it and ready to go. Once we were in the car I explained to my younger Caucasian friend what had happened and she went in just to test everything out to ensure I wasn’t delusional. She purchased numerous alcohol items and the same RUDE employee, Kim, not only NOT ask The Young Caucasian gentleman in front of her but didn't bother to ask her for any identification neither. It's A DAMN SHAME that racism still exist at a time in this world where we should all come together. I really hope she changes her ways. i’m not sure what barn animal raised her, but I was raised to always be kind even when others aren’t kind to you. SAD. Thanks for a HORRIBLE experience Kim, the...
Read moreIf I could put zero stars, I would. Due to a series of unfortunate events, I needed to place a pickup order, rather than get the groceries myself. I regret everything about using Winn-Dixie to place a pickup order. If you are placing a pickup order, go to Publix or Walmart. You’ll get your groceries and save yourself a lot of trouble. Winn-Dixie contracts DoorDash for their pre-order program and neither one of them has any clue what the heck is going on. I placed my order around 12:30 and was told it will be ready at 3:00pm. My order had 20+ items and, and the shopper contacted me saying 1 item was out of stock. They messaged me ant 1:00pm about it, and they were able to find a replacement. I thought everything was fine until around 2:00pm when, out of the blue, I get an order cancellation. I called the store customer service, and they said contact DoorDash. I called DoorDash, and they blamed it on Winn-Dixie. Winn-Dixie, do yourself a favor and bring your pickup service in house. I’m sure your employees would like the opportunity to receive tips for shopping. You’d also be able to oversee the program better and maintain company standards that DoorDash shoppers don’t seem to have. DoorDash lost you $150 order today, and I’m probably not the only one. ...
Read moreI normally go here every week, maybe even twice a week. I was buying some steak this time. This time there were only small packages left, I had asked the new lady in the meat dept LACEY to see if she can repackage a pack to the amount that I only needed. Since there were no more in the glass section at the meat dept. So I needed a pack of three steaks not two. Her response was that we can't do that because it's against policy and that no one else would buy just the single pack of steak. I have never had this issue before. So I went up to customer service and asked for a manager. I waited over 15 minutes while they called their manager 3 or 4 times no answer. So the cashier went up and the seafood guy repackaged it for me in less than a minute. This is unacceptable customer service as this is just priced per pound. I wasn't asking to alter any of the prices or take the fat off of something. This is a simple repackage request which she has failed to do so, which had turned into a huge escalation. Not only wasting my time waiting for a Manager but everyone else's that was in line behind me. Please train your lazy employee LACEY in the meat department customer service and how to do her job correctly. Also a manager still never came to assist the...
