8- The reason for my score is because nothing can be perfect!!! ...And well only one that can be perfect.It is my subjective review. It is based on my experience that I have had and can include my love for coffee. The real kind, the kind with a kick. Not something watered down, I like it real, and honest and not made by fake lovers of coffee. Call them coffee posers.
This love only came after a life of thinking I could make coffee always on my own, and after being kicked a few times and thinking I could do it by myself. I couldn't and I won't. Luckily this network of fellow coffee lovers is there, and I am most grateful for all of them.
I do like tea too, so you could say I am diverse in my taste. But coffee is coffee and tea is tea so I call them like I see them. I might get it wrong and I am most certainly not perfect. There are even mushroom teas so all of this can get a little confusing but I try to get it right. I think Caribou does too, well I like to think so. At least I am honest and not claiming something untrue while being ...starry eye'd ;) ;) ;)
Something that I wonder about with Caribou is why you don't have sugar free alternatives??? I believe we all should have free choice to choose sugar or not. I would even prefer starry eyed over the sugar so don't get me wrong. I like the taste of sugar. It does have its uses but it's bad for me.
I get it, corporate, coffee bean counters, sugar free has a higher cost... and please don't put the nasty stuff in it. That's obvious to those with a discerning palate. I find it difficult to believe that someone who loves coffee has not thought of this long ago. There are plenty of natural alternatives like stevia, which by the way goes nearly purrrfect with chocolate of the unsweetened mocha kind. Can you say yum already lol?

Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve always preferred Caribou over other coffee shops until now. Tried this place twice and both times were horrible! The first time we waited a long time for our beverages. When we finally got them, one was not even closely related to what we ordered. When we told them, they promised the correct drink. After a very long time, we had not received the correct drink so we asked about it again. Some time later, a larger size of the correct beverage arrived but we were near ready to leave after having waited so long.
The second time, we ordered two drinks, two pastries, and $75 worth of gift cards. Their checkout system is very misleading so I ended up leaving a $14 tip on a total that included the gift cards, which I realized too late. Again, we waited a ridiculous amount of time for our drinks. When we didnāt receive our pastries, I went to the counter again and asked for them. After we got them, I sat down again and then returned to the counter to give feedback. I told the two people working there that this was the second time we had had a bad experience and both times I had left an excessive tip and that they needed to āup their gameā.
The woman who was working there then came over and proceeded to tell me she was the manager and to lecture me on how company policy is that they wait on drive through customers before in-house customers. She also went into telling me that āthat other man waited longer than you so thatās why he got his stuff first.ā I had no idea who she was talking about since I I hadnāt said a word about another customer. I told her that, as a customer, I shouldnāt have to be concerned about her problems. At this point, she got increasingly more aggressive, telling me to ālet her talkā. As she continued to rant on me, I walked away....

I wanted to get couple bagels and my drink , but she said they have only one bagel ( I can see it clearly behind her that there was a lot ) , thanks the other lady jumped in the middle told her that they have more , after I placed my order , they didn't make my drink and I waited for long , again the other lady asked me what I was waiting for and made my drink. After few minutes (I was reading ), I decide to get my Carmel cooler, unbelievable , for the second time , they still didn't make my order after I paid for it - I gave up and took all my stuff and left the store . This is not professional., service specially at caribou coffee shop level.
