TOM's Famous Family Restaurant 20 — Restaurant in Apple Valley

9/12/2024 I went for breakfast again this morning and my goodness it was so delicious and I was kind of picky asking for this and that and they did it so perfect and I don't intend to be picky to test people it's just I have problem digesting food I have a obstruction and I have to have prepared a certain way or it doesn't go down they're just so wonderful about it. Also I'd like to say that I was sitting near the area where they walk out with the food when they're taking it to the tables and I really wanted to take photos of all the plates going by because they were so beautiful. I mean these plates of food look like they could have come from a magazine and I just wanted to grab all of them. The food really was amazing looking and when you think of a burger stand you do not think of the type of food that was gone past me. They walked by with waffles covered in strawberries and whipped topping and it was so amazing looking and the smell coming off of it was fantastic. Huge breakfast burritos going by with Homestyle potatoes. The chicken fried steak smelled so good I will stabbed it with my fork and jacked it off the plate going by. And the young ladies working in there are the sweetest things ever.

Update I went back today to get breakfast and I made all kinds of special requests over the phone when I placed my order I wanted my eggs scrambled but I wanted them cracked out of the shell cooked on the flat top because it tastes better that way and then I also wanted my hash browns light and fluffy I mean I was a little bit of a pain in the ass I mean I was very nice and thankful that they were going to do it but most of the time when I ask for things special like that I never get it and I'm telling you man and my breakfast was perfect the coffee was so good and when I walked in to pick up my order the smell and there's amazing I mean it just smells so good it's just so nice you know and it was like $7 for breakfast which is really good you get your choice of breakfast meat and your eggs and your hash browns and your toast and your cup of coffee you can't beat that and it's super good my son got French toast and you know it was good it didn't look that great but it actually tasted pretty good so I mean I was definitely pleased he got three full slices which was six triangles and that was a lot you know he was very satisfied and they have a combo with French toast and your meat and all the stuff if you want it but he just wanted only French toast anyhow you know the bill was less than $20 for two people to have nice breakfast me and you just can't beat that sure beats McDonald's I mean they're crappy garbage that they sells way more expensive and nowhere near the quality and the good taste it's like this place is like home cooking you know it's like you would make for yourself and actually better I can't make hash browns as nice as theirs so yeah I don't know I just happy with it now I'm never gone there as far as I know to have like a hamburger to eat dinner so that'll be next on my list and then I'll update this to include my review of their dinner and lunch menu item. I also want to say that before Tuesday morning it was super super busy and those ladies and they were just jumping and flying around like crazy but yet they were really nice and I was again a pain in the butt cuz I needed Splenda and I needed Sweet and Low and where's the cream for the coffee and can you give me a pack of salt and pepper and I mean I was one of those people and they were so nice and so patient and didn't get upset with me and just gave me what I needed and they were just you know multitasking like they had 12 arms instead of two so whoever owns or manages that place needs to give those ladies arrays and also give those Cooks a raise because they did a great job and they're working hard and I'm sure they don't get paid a whole lot and they don't get tips so give them a raise they're doing a great job. 😶💞😁👍

Visited april 7th at 8pm, "head waitress" was extremely rude to us and trying to hurry up our order while rolling her eyes, food was extremely greasy and very salty, was told "well thats just how the food is here by same waitress. Also I was waiting by the bathroom door to use the rest room and a cook walked out of the bathroom and basically pushed himself through me, now I never heard the faucet go off and I didn't hear the paper towel dispenser go off AT ALL, and when I went in you can tell that he had just gone poop. He didn't wash his hands at all and when back to cooking customers food with basically feces all over his hands!!!! I was disgusted and grabbed my family and left. The waitress was also yelling at a couple of bus drivers who park up the street saying that they couldn't use "her bathrooms" unless they bought something. Very very rude and I will no l9ngwr bring my family to Tom's. All of my family and friends have been going to Tom's since the first store opened up here in the desert, not anymore and never again!! Tom's just lost about 50 loyal customers due to that waitress and that disgusting cook!!! I'd love it if I could put...

The food was good as usual but this place needs a deep cleaning. They're always doing the normal mopping and stuff like that but it looks like they're just spreading the dirt around the floor. The young lady comes out of the back with a soak and wet dripping mop walks to the other side of the store and just starts mopping back and forth all the way to the front door all that did is spread stuff around and make the floor extremely slippery. And I've noticed for the last few months the fans in the dining room could use some serious cleaning. The fuzz is about 1/2 inch thick. I've actually mentioned the fans to the people at the counter over the last few months but apparently they haven't done anything about it yet.
