Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Appleton

I ordered 6 blizzards about a month ago. They were training at the time. The trainee kept getting our order wrong n had to remake quite a few times. When I got home 2 of the blizzards were wrong. I called n told them the mistakes. They put it under my daughters name since it was her n my sons blizzards tht weren't right. Today I went there to order some more blizzards n get my son n daughters blizzard. They said someone had came n already got it on the 4th of April. I told them thts impossible since my daughter is only 14 n son 13. N they dont drive. I had foot surgery on the 1st of April n I'm only starting to drive again now. N they said they cant do anything more for us. I can see where they're coming from with people claiming food n turning around saying they never recieved it. I get tht. I used to work in the restaurant business for quite a few yrs. But what got me is they kept saying maybe u forgot, or someone on our behalf came n got it. I think I would know if I picked it up or otherwise. I asked if they made a mistake n checked the wrong person off in the book. N they denied tht. If they cant keep their book straight then maybe the need to stop making mistakes, have photo id, or start mailing coupons instead of using the book. Js. Ik dq wont do right with me but its frustrating knowing tht I just paid for someone else to have my kids blizzards. (They have cameras...maybe they should look into tht if they're...

we visited this location with some friends on a night out. 5-01-2024 at 8:45 pm. as we walked in, the vibe was immediately intense and you could tell the workers did not want us to come and order our ice cream. right as we walked up to the counter, my friend was immediately hit on by one of the workers. we’re a bit uncomfortable but we move forward with our order. we walk up to the register, and we rudely get told that the register we were standing in front of is not in use and to find someone to order from. we proceed to order our ice cream with a nice young lady who took her time and helped us out. as my blizzard was done mixing, the bigger white lady cleaned my blizzard off with the bucket of dirty wash cloths used for cleaning. the dirty disgusting water got into my blizzard and i had to scoop off gross wet ice cream from the top layer and the sides of the cup. i will not be returning and i will be telling everyone i know to advise from going here. My family and I have been coming to this DQ for a very long time. It’s clean, well kept, their blizzards are always fantastic, and most of all, the staff is so kind! We’ve been wanting to get one specific night workers name for a while, blonde hair, always pulled back in a braid or ponytail, always has a headband on, and very tall. She deserves a lot of praise, shes fantastic!!! Every time we’re in there shes busting her butt managing counter, cleaning things, always giving good and helpful directions to what I’m assuming are trainees? Quick on her feet, and so polite. Every time my fam and I are in there and see her we make sure to go to her register. Seriously, I have never seen someone multitask so seamlessly and fast in my life. 5/5 stars for the service and kindness we receive there. Thanks for making family time such a lovely experience DQ!
