Erb Park — Attraction in Appleton

We recently spent a day at Erb Park, and we absolutely loved it! This place has something for everyone, whether you're just looking to relax or want a fun adventure with the kids.

The playground is awesome! There are swings, climbing nets, and slides that kept the kids entertained for hours. Everything is really well-designed, with a soft rubber surface that made us feel a lot better about letting the little ones run around. It's definitely one of the best playgrounds we've been to in a while.

The park itself is beautifully laid out with plenty of open green space and big shady trees, which made for a perfect spot to sit and relax. There are benches everywhere, so it’s easy to find a comfy spot to watch the kids or just take in the surroundings.

We also noticed there are lots of picnic tables and a covered area, which makes it a great place for a family picnic. The restrooms were clean, which is always a plus when you’ve got kids with you. You can really tell that the city takes pride in keeping this place nice.

It's a cool place. Would recommend to anyone.

Large space/open grass area for lots of people, pavilion and pool house, courts (tennis and basketball), horse shoe pits, soccer field, playground for the kiddos with swings and jungle gym- a variety for a lot of activities.

Cool things about Erb Park is that it allows dogs, has a pool (never heard of such at a park before), large enough park to offer space for other groups to congregate, is a well-kept area including the equipment and structures and is easy access for those handicapped.

Only considerable cons would be parking (small lot space otherwise park on streets), location/traffic being that its on main roads next to schools near downtown and finally construction (when is there never such? Lol).

I live pretty near this park, and go to school near it too, so I’ve been to this park a lot. I’ve never really thought “I wish this park had _” or “This park is too _” so I couldn’t even give you any reason not to come to this park. It has a playground, a trail, a Gaga ball pit, tennis courts, a basketball court, even a ping pong ball table! The pool right next to the park is perfect place to go if you need to cool off too. It’s very spacious so it is a bit of a walk to the next activity, but they are all very well maintained and clean. It’s a great place to take children and even just go for a walk around. I love going to this park, and don’t plan on stopping any time soon, so I would definitely recommend this...
