Hmong Express — Restaurant in Appleton

Really poor and slow service. I would understand if it was busy but during the time that I went, my family of 6 were the only ones dining in. Everyone received their food and finished while I was still waiting for mine. There were a couple customers who ordered and left with their food, but I still didn't receive mine. My family decided to go to shop at the store next door and when they came back, still, I didn't receive my food. I told my husband to just ask for a refund and so he spoke to the cashier. The cashier told him she'll go check in the back first, however she didn't come back out until a couple minutes later. When she did, she brought the food that I ordered, which was the red curry, in to go boxes.

When I got home, I opened the boxes and the broth was frozen cold. It was like leftover frozen broth that had they scraped out.

If the food is not ready, just apologize and let the customer know. Don't lie and give frozen food for them. That made the...

Warm and friendly staff. Very clean and well decorated restaurant. I love that they offer a pho bar. I don't like peanuts in my papaya salad and always request for none to be added when ordering. Hmong Express is the first place ever in my life to ask me if I was allergic to peanuts. And if I was, they will have to use separate tools that never touched peanuts to make my papaya salad for me. Overall, the best oriental restaurant in all of the cities. Out of everywhere I’ve been, this is the most authentic and delicious Hmong food I’ve ever had. The pho and crispy pork belly is so delicious! The food takes a little while to get out but it’s totally worth the wait! The longest I’ve ever had to wait was only 15 minutes!
