Taco House — Restaurant in Appleton

🌶️In one word - RICO! Which means delicious in Spanish!! Wow this place is a diamond in the rough. Drove by a few times and did not know what it was. Our neighbors recommended it so we checked it out last night. Simply amazing!🥑 Mouthwatering tacos delicious tableside, guacamole in fact, the best I’ve ever had. Handcrafted Mexican waters, which means they mix tropical fruit with water and strain them for a delicious refreshing handcrafted beverage, no it’s not juice -they call it Aquas de sabor.

I tried the melon last night, which was to die for… eeekkk…. And sweet Jesus!!! We also had a side of their white cheese dip. Wow, delicious - Cristo bandito!🧀

Thank you Roberto for a fantastic dining experience. Even though this place is small you can …get it to go or sit at the bar or simply enjoy a beverage and wait for a table. They also offer cold brewskis- in Spanish “ Chellas” - get with the lingo people lol 🍺

Can’t wait for them to expand because I think this place is the next best thing in Appleton. The tacos were mouthwatering. Very friendly staff …quick service …and overall just a great Taqueria!!! Gracias amigos y nos vemos...

I stopped into Taco House on their opening day! Definitely one of the better tacos in town!! They only do Mexican style tacos. They leave the corn tortillas on the grill a bit so the tortilla doesn’t fall apart, they have a hint of a crunch and I like it! The salsas are very good. The steak is his own recipe and not like any place in town. I’d say that it has an American flavor to the steak but it’s very good! I’d say definitely the best flavored steak flavor for a taco in town! I really think he hit a home run with the al pastor! It is fantastic! Very Mexican and authentic! The beef tongue was shredded and I prefer cubed but the flavor was very good. They put the most meat in the taco than any other place in town! I would order all of these again!! I’ve also tried the Torta and I am a fan! I am a huge fan of the Torta Cubana and other than no milanesa and chorizo omelet inside, it is fantastic! Probably my favorite Torta in the Fox Valley. I will say, if the exterior of the bun gets grilled, this Torta may be the only sandwich I eat in town! I will be back!!! Welcome to the food scene...

Maybe it's a fluke. But the tacos I ordered came all soggy & gross really. I expect some due to travel, but I don't think they could find my very easy to find place I live. It took over an hour to get. Wish the driver would've called for MORE directions. I couldn't even eat them. I tried just the insides. It was pretty good, I guess. I also ordered a burrito. In their defense, I can't even attempt to try it. I'm totally turned off. So, I have no idea how it is. It wouldn't be so bad had it not cost THIRTY dollars (with all the fees, tips etc). For one person. Just wow. I think the food wouod be good if you eat it right there, the second you order & get it. It wasn't a good experience. Won't order again. Which is a total bummer as I've waited so long to try them. This is just my opinion on my specifics. I wouldn't NOT try it, but eat it there. Yuck. Bleech in my belly. I'm sure y'all have a different experience than I. Good luck to the owners, I hope it remains there for a long time. Besides my review & very, very few others, seems everyone likes it. Just not good...
