If you go to the Ballard Rd location beware!!!
This was my go to place for Tuesday dinner while watching High School track. I’ve always ordered online so I haven’t seen the sandwich prep. Today I forgot to place my online order and opted for the drive thru. After being greeted and ask to hold a moment to place my order, I patiently waited 5-10 minutes before the employee came back. I assume understaffed. No big deal. Place my order and wait another 8 minutes at the window. Again, no big deal to wait. To my surprise you can watch them make your sandwich. This is where it got upsetting.
The team-member (Sam) making my food must be having a rough day. I watched him literally throw the ingredients on my first 2 sandwiches. Ok, I can handle a messy sandwich. Not ideal, but ok. While waiting for cheese to be unwrapped by someone else to make sandwich #3 Sam had the meat on the food prep counter. I watched him poke fingers through the turkey, smash it with his hands and overall give the turkey some man handling. This grossed me out! I knocked on the window and politely asked for food that hasn’t been punched and smashed. This was done, however I was laughed at by all 3 employees. When I asked for the team-members name who prepared my order, I was passed to who I assume was the manager. She provided his name and shut the window.

Read moreWe had a terrible experience at the Ballard Road Jimmy John’s at 11:50 am today. The person at the window never looked at me and mumbled “rewards” and proceeded to ring up my order and asked for payment. When he handed me my order, I explained that because he didn’t talk directly to me I didn’t have an opportunity to give my phone number. From that point on he was rude and condescending. He rambled on about it being my fault I didn’t give my rewards information in time. I tried to stop him to explain my point of view and he blew me off! As I drove away, I called the store and asked to speak to a manager. Someone came on the line, identifying themselves as the manager, and when I explained the situation, he defended the employee in question and was more interested in correcting me for calling the person a young man rather than a she and wasn’t interested in my explanation or in me as a customer. This location has a real problem with their customer service and management. I hope the franchise owner sees this message and makes the necessary changes to better train their employees. We...
