Iceland's — Restaurant in Appomattox

Been coming here occasionally for the past few years. Never had too much of a problem before tonight. I ordered a strawberry sundae and the strawberries had a horrible rotten/fermented taste. I had to throw out the whole thing because obviously I don’t want to get sick. My husband ordered a storm and while it tasted fine it was only filled 3/4 of the way. Safe to say we will not be returning. Unfortunate because we would love to support a local business other than supporting Dairy Queen. But I just can’t justify going back to a place that is serving...

I love taking my family to Iceland's for ice cream! Their regular soft serve is great as well as their dairy free options and deluxe sundaes. It's so nice to sit under their pavilion and enjoy their frozen treats. They recently opened a second truck called the Cabin. We have only gotten to try the subs so far, but they were so yummy. I can't wait to go back and try their hibachi selections. The owners have done a fabulous job bringing other trucks to their lot as well as putting on a wonderful farmers market. They are a true treasure...

I drive thru here at least twice a month to treat my 3 children and myself. We haven't ordered anything that we didn't like! The employees are always friendly! I drive thru during their less busy times to avoid long waits. There are only 1 to 2 employees working, and they are working the drive thru window and a walk up window so it can get very busy very quickly. As long as you visit on their "off times" you can avoid a long wait! All desserts...
