Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Aransas Pass

We where traveling and stop here at church's chicken we went through the drive-thru there was only one car in front of us they got served pretty quick we get to the window payed for our food they hand us our drinks and tells us to pull up and they'll bring it out we pacifically asked them before we pulled off from the window and pulled up to wait for the food that we would like salt and ketchup with our food not only did we wait 15 minutes there was no silverware to eat are mashed potatoes and gravy no salt no ketchup and we got the chicken fried steak with no silverware then we went back they had already closed so we were stuck with a messed up order check your stuff before you drive off and I suggest if they ask you to pull up to wait tell them no and wait at the window and make sure they get it right because even if you pacifically tell them they don't care enough about your business to take care of you right I'm pretty tired of going to these food places and paying almost $10 a meal and they can't even give you silverware to eat it with they f* it up every time no matter which...

We ordered through door dash I should start off by saying. From the time I ordered to the time it got here was no more than 20-25 minutes which meant that the food should be hot.

Wrong! The sand which had 2 pickles on it and was lukewarm, the poppers that were my side had been sitting under and heat lamp for hours probably, they didn’t put my desert biscuits in there, my husband ordered a 3 piece spicy white chicken and it was ALL wings not one single breast and it was ice cold. The only thing that was remotely warm was the Mac and cheese. So if that was warm the rest of it should be as well.

To top it off, they are open until 10, at 8:15 I called 5 or so times and no one will answer the phone. People work hard for their money now a days and expect what they order to be correct and fresh.

I expect the manager or owner to respond or compensate appropriately. I will be going up there tomorrow for a face to face conversation. After being on an airplane and traveling all day this was more than enough to set me off, and I work in the food...

It seems they can never get anything right. I go through the drive thru so I don’t have to get out of the car. I made the mistake of not checking the food before driving off. The sauce that they charged me extra for was not in the bag. So I had to go to the door. The next time I went, the food tasted cold and old when I got to my house 10 minutes away. They were nice enough to replace the order. Went back today to get the replacement. They walked the food out to my car. I asked about the sauce and was told it was in the bag. Glad I checked because it wasn’t. I had to go to the door again. The cups of Mac n cheese that we have to pay extra for look half empty. The containers are also melted like they microwaved them. They also don’t give silverware or napkins. Sometimes they charge extra for sauce and sometimes they dont. Don’t think I’ll be going back...
