Decided to stop in today for the first time for lunch. I ordered the creamy chicken sandwich and an order of onion rings while the service was great and the employees were fast and courteous unfortunately, the food was subpar. I left Eric's and drove a few blocks to the park to spend my lunch break and the bottom bun of my chicken sandwich was so waterlogged that you couldn't even pick it up to eat it. There was so much liquid in the sandwich that after the bottom bun soaked up all it could, the juice was pouring in the bottom of the container. I decided to just eat the chicken with a fork and the chicken was bland with no seasoning, shredding chicken and putting chicken broth on it is not a creamy chicken sandwich. Wasted $5 on this at least the onion rings were good.

Went to Erics after a basketball game and ordered our icecream my mom ordered a banana split with extra peanut butter. The first time the girl brought it out it had no whip cream on it and no cherry and was dripping out of the dish. so my mom said "isnt this supposed to get whip cream" The employee said yeah ill get that for you took the icecream back and then my mom waited about 10 minutes for her banana split back with whipcream and a cherry. When we received it back after 10 minutes it was basically soup and a giant mess. Very disappointing. Let me know how you would of ate this with a spoon or straw?

Every time I go I get a 2 scoop and normally am presented with a large 2 scoop bowl of ice cream except this last time I watched the employee making my bowl get small scoops while the employees next to them were clearly putting a larger scoop size in every bowl then what was presented to me. Haven't had this happen any other time, and if it's bad training I get it but there should be an average scoop size between all employees. If it was cheaper then I would also understand

My wife and I enjoy trying local ice cream shops wherever we travel. About six weeks ago we visited Eric's in Defiance Ohio and loved it. We were thrilled to discover that there is also a location in Archbold which is very close to a family member. We visited it on Sunday. Eric's ice cream is fantastic - so rich, smooth, creamy, and delicious - the ice cream is easily in the top three best we have ever had! They have an excellent variety of flavors and they are happy to provide samples before you buy. We felt the single scoop serving size was reasonable and a good value. We look forward to visiting Eric's every time we are in northwest Ohio...
