As much as I love Crumbl, I’ll likely be avoiding this location in the future. There have been a few times they have done something incorrectly with my cookie, which has been no big deal, as they corrected it. However, this past time I went to this location this week, I got the honeycomb cookie, and the staff didn’t show me my cookies when serving them to me. So, I checked my cookies in the car, and I noticed that they used snickers toppings on my honeycomb cookie, instead of the chocolate covered honeycomb pieces. I went back inside to inform the staff, and the girl who was helping me said “nope it’s definitely honeycomb, not snickers. I know it looks weird but it’s honeycomb.” I said back, “are you sure? Because I took a very small nibble of the topping, and I can taste the peanuts and nougat in the snickers crumbles.” And she was adamant that it was honeycomb saying “nope definitely honeycomb, can’t do anything about that”
I shared the cookie with a few others, and they were like “that is DEFINITELY snickers.”
I understand that mix ups can happen, but the fact that the employee would not own up to using the incorrect topping when a customer brings something up (after not showing the customer their cookies in the first place, like they are supposed to do) left a really bad taste in my mouth on...
Read moreInteresting to see the differences in customer service between locations. I used to frequent the one in Woodbury where they always greet you and show you the cookies to make sure they're what you wanted before handing them to you. I've been to this Arden Hills location 4 times in the last couple of weeks and the customer service is very inconsistent. The first time I went no one greeted us and when we got the cookies the woman literally shoved them at us on the counter and started walking away. The second and third time we again were not greeted, but they at least opened the boxes to ask us how the cookies looked. The 4th time was today, and again no greeting, even though I was standing at the counter waiting for someone to talk to me. About 20 second later a woman walks over with two closed boxes, I tell her I have an online order, she says "here they are" and just sets them down and stares at me. Uh, okay? I just take them, thank her and walk out, checking if they're actually the right cookies out in my car. If I wasn't used to the Woodbury location this all wouldn't be as weird, but knowing now how the customer service should be, I think this location has a little training and catching up that needs to be done. Other than that the cookies are good and I would...
Read moreOverall a great cookie, fast service, and stream line business model. Easy to check out in the kiosk. They look like a 10 and taste like a 6. It was about $20 for a six cookies actually about 21 with tax. They also wanted gratuity which seemed to odd being they hand you a box. It's like giving gratuity to my butcher or the bread maker. If the cookie was handcrafted for you while you were there I would see where they were coming from but being it's all pre-made and then put in a box in 2 minutes I don't think it's in the spirit of what gratuity is meant for. That being said and 3.25 per cookie 🍪 I would say it was very nice but not sure if I go out of my way for them again. I had the Reese's peanut butter cookie which definitely had the peanut butter taste and the good Reese's pieces ratio but still have a factory feel to The Taste compared to my wife's homemade cookies. Also the frosting on the other cookie seemed a bit too sweet and very thick. Finally the cornbread cookie seem to have a snickerdoodle taste pretty much looked like a cornbread cookie but tasted like a sugar cookie with some cream of tartar. Nice but nothing over the top. Again I would say overall the visuals are top notch with the cookies and how they look in the box but the taste is about...
