I’ll be honest, I have always said Pancheros is better than Qudoba and Chipotle. But, I can’t stand this location for the simple fact of the staff has very few good workers. The bad employees out way the good ones. The last 2 times I’ve been here have been enough of a bad experience to declare a bad review and no more buisness.
The first bad experience: I walk in around 7pm after work and stand in a dead line. I’m watching this employee leaning on the prep counter, wearing gloves sitting on his phone. After I sit for about 2mins, I finically said “excuse me, I’d like to make an order”. They look up from their phone and put it away. They then proceed to not say anything and I start my order. Once I noticed they haven’t changed gloves, I asked if they could changed their gloves and wash the counter for where their butt was leaning on. The employee then said “Aaah No” in the softest tone possible. I told them that’s unsanitary and goes against food safety standards. They then proceed to just stand and look at me. I ended up just walking out…
My second bad experience: I once again came in around 7pm with just over an hour until they closed. As I walk in, I noticed it was the same employee that was quiet and wouldn’t change their gloves or wash the counter after sitting on it. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and proceeded to order. This time, I noticed them put on new gloves. I started my order, Bowl, white rice and black beans, then I asked for Tofu as it was an order for my wife. The employee opened the container lid and just looked at me. They sat in silence, I said again that I would like Tofu please. He once again looked at me in silence. I asked if they are out of tofu and responded yeah. I asked if they could make some more and he said “No”. I told him I’d like Tofu and said I could wait. He stood and just kinda looked at me in silence. Once again, I asked if they could heat up some tofu and he said “no”. I thanked them again and walked out without...
Read moreWent to pickup pancheros for me and my girlfriend. Usually I love pancheros but this experience makes me never want to go back ever again. I got two chicken bowls. The server gave a half scoop of rice for each bowl that barely covered the bottom of the bowl. I politely asked for another scoop of rice for each and she gave an extra scoop for just one bowl, so I had to ask for a scoop for the other bowl. After that each portion of toppings I asked for were also very small. Half scoops if even. I had to constantly ask for another scoop and I did so politely. She gave a pinch of cheese for each bowl that barely even covered 1/4 of the bowl. I ask for sour cream and get the smallest scoop I have ever seen. I ask for another scoop and she leans over to the cashier and says “extra sour cream” and gives me another tiny portion. And then I have to ask for an extra scoop for the second bowl since they decided that I was getting kids meal portions for my bowls today. Paid an extra $1.20 in sour cream. Maybe it’s just this location that gives this small of portions but I have never seen anything like this before in the many visits I’ve had to pancheros. I was polite as could be and would never get angry at the workers but they clearly were bothered that I was asking for extra of everything since they wanted to skimp out in the first place. It’s not like I was trying to load up a mega bowl and take all of the food. But they literally gave me the smallest portions for the $18 I paid. Honestly just really disappointed and will be going to chipotle from here on out where they don’t charge you $.60 extra for a tiny kids meal second scoop of sour cream and get it right the first time you ask. Everything was cold as well and the pico looked as if it was days old. Never going back to pancheros and I recommend anyone who reads this review do the same. Chipotle is better by...

We went to Pancheros because my in-laws gave us a gift card to this place and we wanted to go see it. Pancheros is a Tex-Mex restaurant with the same concept of serving in bowls, in burritos, with different meats, rice, beans, vegetables and the other condiments they offer, similar to another restaurant whose name begins with the syllable “Chi …”. So, this time I ordered a bowl of chicken with rice and black beans, fajitas, lettuce, corn, cream, cheese and the hottest sauce (which really isn't that spicy for my taste buds) – I also added a tortilla on the side. . The chicken had very good seasoning and was very juicy, which is worth mentioning. Also, the beans tasted very good. It was a good experience for the palate. The place is very nice and clean. It has windows, which allows sunlight to enter and the interior feels very spacious. The kitchen is in front of you, so you can see how they cook everything and serve it to you. They have drinks from the Soda Fountain and also in bottles if you want to buy to go. Also, the bathrooms are very clean and spacious, although they are only for one person at a time. Something I should mention is that they charge separately for the omelette, so if you are going to order an omelet, remember that you are going to pay an extra $1.75. I realized that too late, but that was my mistake and not theirs because they do have it described on their menu. They have a sauce with their own name that is spicy and rich. I had to combine it with the sauce they had already put on me to be able to increase the level of spiciness in my food (but I always do that because I need my food to be hotter than normal). The attention of the employees was magnificent, they even treated my daughter splendidly, so I want to recognize the good work of those who attended to us that day. I do recommend this place and I hope to go again soon.
