Was told wait would be 40 minutes but was pleased to be seated within 10-15. During this time we viewed the menu. It went downhill after that. It was atleast 5 minutes before our waitress showed up to greet us. She was quick to take our drink order and started to take off before we could order an appetizer and also our meals since we'd known what we wanted. The onion rings and fried pickles were a hit. The dishes piled up at the end of the table until a waiter cleared them away. My daughter felt something scratch her back and found a fork stuck in her seat. We didnt see our waitress again until the food was delivered. When the food came 2 cheeseburgers that were suppose to be done came medium and cold. Kids meatballs and my steakhouse sandwich were also cold. The "bottom-less" steak fries is a joke. You get more on your plate at a time ordering a small fry from McDonalds. Atleast my 5 fries came scolding hot though. Our waitress didnt come back around again until our food was mostly gone. Didnt ask if we needed drink refills, instead asked if we needed more fries! I said no, just our checks and a few to go boxes (self.checkout at table wasnt wirking), We told her one of the burgers and a drink was on one check and the rest on another. She took both cards but ran both checks on one card. Ill be checking ti make sure we werent charged multiple times. Im very sure that this waitress had no other tables as we could see all areas from our table and could see all the other servers running around but never ours. As a waitress myself, I didnt feel she deserved more than 10%, and she only got that because I always tip. I gave the rest if her 10% to the gentleman who bused her...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI don't usually frequent chain restaurants, but we came here for a family member's birthday. It was extremely busy at 5:30 on a Saturday night, and we waited about an hour for a table (for a party of 8). They don't take reservations, which is disappointing - "first come, first serve." The place was very busy, but our server was quick and attentive; I was pleasantly surprised by that. At my request, a few of the servers sang to my cousin for his birthday. I saw that some of the tables had those electronic screens that kids can play on.
The bottomless fries were good, and my meal came with a bottomless salad, which was nice. I enjoyed my "Wedgie burger," which had bacon, guacamole, tomato, and red onion, and came on lettuce instead of a bun. Be sure to ask for a side of their tasty chipotle mayo for your food. My husband liked his burger, too. One of our sandwiches came out with chicken the first time instead of beef like he ordered, so we had to wait for them to cook a new one. However, we didn't have to pay for that meal, which I appreciated.
Cocktails were tasty, but about $8 apiece. Overall the experience ended up being positive despite the long wait. Not really my style of place in general, but I might come back again for "the Wedgie" sometime when they aren't so busy. I would probably give 5 stars if they took...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy very first visit, I was blown away at the notion of bottomless sides. It was just unheard of, especially when other eateries don't give you as much on the side and everyone who eats out, knows that the sides is what really make or break a dish, but bottomless, that changes the game. I ordered the Madlove Burger and my partner ordered the Crispy Chicken Sandwich. Everything was delish at that time.
Fast forward to our most recent visit, we had an excellent experience with a super chill server, Savanna, who tended our every whim. She made sure our bottomless sides were truly bottomless.
I've had time to try other burgers in past visits, but this time around, I tried the limited time Buzzer Beater Bacon Cheeseburger Three Pointer and my partner had the Mike's Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich. We had ordered several sides as well, including mozzarella sticks. Unfortunately, these weren't your slabs of mozzarella but they're good and plentiful.
We ate and was able to hang around and chat a little bit after to let our stomachs settle before we left. We hardly felt rushed at any point in time, despite being close to closing time.
Overall, Red Robin has been a great place to dine and, being such a big burger guy, I have to try every burger at least once, so I will definitely...
