Update: June 2019. Redesigned, welcoming and service was top notch. The salsa was way good, wife loves the spicy green sauce and the cheese was good. Our food arrive hot and quickly for us 3. Wife had beef fajitas nachos with side of grilled veggies which was awesome. I had a combo dinner; crispy beef taco and enchilada with rice, all was good. This place must’ve step up their game because the food was on point, service was awesome. Would recommend

Don't understand all the high reviews of this place. I do agree with the reviews of prompt service, food not so much. Chips are what you would expect..okay, salsa was okay, $3.99 if you want cheese dip, green salsa is a guacamole/jalapeño mix. Not a salsa verde Me and wife order combo dinners -chicken enchilada which chicken was flavored good but the green verde wasn't good it's the guacamole mix which I don't like guacamole. The wait was forever, the waitress/ hostess took 30 mins to seat us even speak to us for the fact, Chips and salsa was 10/10, had a good first impression, after that it just went downhill, the waitress didn’t inform you if anything that came on the food we ordered, the menu didn’t list all the ingredients so be careful! On our way home from Dallas we decided to try a New Mexican restaurant so we pulled up google read reviews and chose Potrillos! Atmosphere: old decor I’d say it needs updated but would not be so bad if walls were clean and not splashed with old sticky liquid , chipped paint and food particles. Food: I am always on the mission for a excellent Homemade Tamale!! So I ordered one, the Masa was very dry, overcooked and had a “wierd” flavor! Pork on the inside was dry and bland. Rice was ok.
