Taste Of India Ardmore — Restaurant in Ardmore

We ate here a couple of days ago and had a wonderful experience!!

Staff - The staff were incredibly friendly and explained the menu options in detail! The gentlemen at the front had an incredibly kind tone and was very patient despite them becoming busier as we were ordering!

Food - I ordered the Chicken Tikka kebab with a side of Garlic Naan and they were both fantastic! My wife ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and it was very good as well! It had a slight hint of sweetness which accompanied the spice extremely well. We ordered it at a “Medium” spice level and it wasn’t too spicy. If you like spicy, then I would advise you get it spicy and not mild or medium.

Atmosphere - The building is newer on the inside. There are several tables but not too many so that it felt overcrowded. When we arrived, there was only one other table that was full. By the time we left, every table was full but it didn’t feel overcrowded. The restroom was nice and clean as well as the rest of the restaurant. They also have a huge bottle of sanitizer at the counter which was a nice touch.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience! I hope Ardmore continues to show the support to them that we witnessed a couple of days ago. Especially since they are new and are likely working out some kinks!

Just left this place after a delicious healthy lunch - all freshly prepared. As soon as my husband and I entered, Kushaal gave us a big welcoming smile from behind the counter. At once, I knew we were going to have a good lunch. I asked Kushaal a lot of questions about what I wanted to eat and was totally satisfied with his answers. After Kushaal brought us our dosas, chutneys and sambhar, he came and inquired if everything was good. While we were there, three or four groups of guests came in and Kushaal greeted them with the same bright animated welcome; they also asked him questions which he replied respectfully and with confidence. I observed that all the guests were relishing their food. Our dosas were prepared to traditional excellence. The idlis were delightfully sqft and steam hot - soooo FRESH. Sambhar and chutneys were also fresh and tasty. The entire experience was soothing for our senses and for our tummies. Kushaal truly deserves kudos because he wins the loyalty...

The chicken tikka masala was great as was the tandoori chicken. I feel like the prices are a bit high though for a "fast casual" type of eatery with paper plates/bowls and plastic ware. Soooo wish it was a buffet. Our biggest problem was trying to order. The worker was very friendly and smiled, but couldn't really answer our questions and when I ordered naan kept trying to say I needed to order a curry to go with it and then there was miscommunication about whether any rice came with our royal platter. It is new and clean and the food was delicious although I don't think the naan was home made and it was not warm. Nice to have an option though for Indian...
