The atmosphere is always inviting, and there’s a great sense of community among both the vendors and the visitors. Everything about Hilltop is really good — from the layout of the market to the quality of products you’ll find here. It wasn’t that busy this morning, which actually made for a calm and enjoyable start to the day. It’s nice to have those quieter moments before the crowd picks up, giving you the chance to explore each booth and really take in all that this market has to offer. There are so many great vendors out here, and I’d definitely recommend checking out Crazy Good Honey and The Salsa Texan. Both are exceptional in their own way — Crazy Good Honey always has fresh, high-quality products, and The Salsa Texan consistently delivers some of the best salsas and baked goods around. Supporting these local businesses not only helps the community but also guarantees you’re getting something made with real care and passion. The bar at Hilltop Truck Park is another major highlight. It’s a great place to unwind, especially when there’s a football game on like today. The energy picks up, and it turns into the perfect environment to enjoy a cold drink, socialize, and cheer on your favorite team. Let’s talk vibes first: lively but chill, like a weekend block party with a full bar. This spot nails the all-are-welcome energy—perfect for big groups with wildly different cravings. Everyone gets to try a different food truck and call it a win.

🍚 HipHop Hibatchi I went with HipHop Hibatchi and while the steak was a little tough for me, the rice? Straight-up perfection. Fluffy, flavorful, and the kind of side dish that makes you want to come back just for the carbs. Definitely giving this another shot next time.

🍕 Flying High Pizza Truck The rest of my crew hit the Flying High Pizza Truck and, no joke, they loved it. Even the kids gave it their seal of approval—which means it’s officially crowd-pleasing gold.

My first visit to Hilltop Truck Park for one reason only this evening: The BEST Korean BBQ at Gogi Time BBQ! I met one of the lovely owners, Susan, and she was an absolute delight to have a chat with, albeit a tad windy and cold. She gratefully brought my order to the car when it was complete so I didn’t have to get out in the cold again. Customer service at its finest folks!

As usual I couldn’t wait until I got home to dig in, so I opened the order of Mandu/wontons, the only thing I could eat successfully while driving! Crisp on the outside, juicy and flavorful meat/veggies/noodles on the inside and a sauce with a little zip on the side. The perfect appetizer to hold me over until I got home!

As soon as I got home I dug into the Galbi Rib and Bulgolgi Bowls, and Ohmygosh the FLAVORS! So on point, so tender, the Asian Slaw was a great compliment, cold, tangy, crisp, and the rice was perfect catching the sauce from the meats!

I’ll return to these guys over and over, and as soon as they get the construction complete at the park, the rest of the food trucks will be back, and this place will be such a hot spot. Great job Gogi Time BBQ, may your lines always be long and your smiles...
