Came in with my family to celebrate my husband’s birthday. It was two adults, two toddlers, and a baby. We had a decent service there was a long wait for us to receive our meals but that’s OK. It’s to be expected since we came at dinner on a Friday night. If you’re a parent and you go to dinner with kiddos you most likely didn’t eat your food because you were attending to your children. That was our situation it was pushing bedtime so we decided it was time for us to go we asked for two boxes and our check. I tipped the server because she was a great server and recommended us our dinner plates. However once I paid I forgot my food on the counter walked out and two minutes later when I come back to the cashier/ host and I’m told my food was trashed. She stated that she went to look for me which I believe is to be a lie because I literally turned back around once I exited the building. Cashed out at 7:10 PM came in back at 7:12 PM. I think what aggravated the situation was that she didn’t apologize for the mistake. When I told her you need to give people a chance she was snarky and stated “I do” with an attitude. I asked for a manager and Carlos was by far even more rude. If he’s the standard of their customer service no wonder his employees have none. If the host would’ve responded and been apologetic and stated “I’m so sorry let me get my manager to see what he can do. “ I would’ve been fine and been like oh it’s OK since I believe we all make mistakes and went on with my evening. However it’s the attitude and the lack there of customer service is what made this a horrific experience. To the manager Carlos, remember you set the standard of customer service in that environment and your customer service should be chef kiss because your food is not that good. I’m still baffled at how you spoke to me. I’m not looking for you to refund me my meal or cook me another meal. A simple apology would have made the whole...

Overall: Normally I write a four part review but we didn't even get to eat here. We walked in and the waitress sat us down but did offer any menus. We had to ask for them which for me, was the beginning of a bad experience.
Finally approximately five minutes later, she sat another couple and then told us she was going to get our menu and finally did. We had them for enough time to look over them but for some reason our waitress/waiter was not introduced to us still at this time (7-10 minutes) to even get us drinks. About this time another couple came in, was sat down two tables away, they had chips, salsa and their drinks within a minute while we had no wait staff. First world problems understand but there is a basic level of service you expect when you go to a restaurant.
We knew from this point it was just going down hill from there. We ended up getting up and leaving. We told the lady at the front about the issue and all she said was "okkkayyy..." We asked to speak to a manager but they said a manager was not at that store but at the other on Irvington. We ended up calling the store and they said the manager was not available at that store either. So no management at the Valencia store, smart alec wait staff and favoritism towards friends of the staff. Not a good example to set and probably won't...
Read morePoor customer service and old beverages. The first batch of cinnamon tea was absolutely disgusting. I ordered two large to go with my meal and it tasted like it was left out for a couple days like the tea itself was rotten. It had no sugar or cinnamon in it at all. I took a big gulp before picking up from counter and literally made me gag. They brought out two more and it was just as plain. So I confirmed it was cinnamon tea. The girl Jovanna said it’s the only one they have back there. I told her there is no cinnamon in it and taste just as bad only with some sugar. Another girl working with her said well different people make it not just one person in a condescending way. I replied it should be consistent recipe, I’ve never had it taste rotten before. I eat here a lot and this batch was horrible. So instead of good customer service from the ladies and the gentleman I see working their frequently they give excuses and smirks on their face like I’m crazy. Their cinnamon tea is my favorite and for me to gag with one sip is a pretty big deal specially because I’m 38 weeks pregnant and I don’t want to be drinking something rotten that can hurt me later. I got a refund for the tea it was clear they were not gonna make any fresh for the...
