Los Favoritos — Restaurant in Arizona

I had been to this location multiple times and enjoyed the food and service. Last night was a MUCH different story. The lady working to register didn't speak English and she took the costumer before me and didn't give them their change, stated she needed to go to the back to get change and tried to keep the change that was supposed to be given back to the costumer. I proceeded to order my food and I paid with card, forgot to add a side a sour cream and paid with cash as it was 2.10 after tax. When I asked her for my sour cream she told me to get my receipt, however the only receipt she gave me was for the meals I paid for on the card. The cashier and the man behind he counter wouldn't give me the sour cream side they poured, that I paid for and the cashier never gave the receipt. This was 100 percent theft from this company from it costumers. I truly hope the owners re-run tapes from the last night the cashier, as I could went different route after experiencing to separate events of money holding and stealing. I decided instead of creating a fuss inside the store that nobody would look at. I hope costumers don't get their money stolen again and are on high ale This was not the normal cashier or staff, they are normally very friendly and have never stolen from me... THIS store needs to Re-Run the tapes and the cashier should be terminated...

I know I should’ve done a review for this fabulous awesome most authentic Mexican food you could get inside Arizona SOONER. compared to my favorite Mexican restaurant in California. This place is number 1#. I highly recommend everything on the menu. Staff are super friendly. The food is amazing. The service is outstanding. The place is always spotless so you know that the food‘s gonna be good. thank you to everybody there for making me feel like a lost family member 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 And can’t forget my favorite burrito being made by the 1# master Mexican chef’s in Arizona, prep cooks are on point with precision and precise measurements to all the authentic Mexican dishes that they serve each day! I’m a very picky eater. I’m very picky when it comes to beans and there beans are 1#. I have tried lotsssss of places in Arizona. hands-down, both hands-down this place rates 1#. 100 stars for their beans🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. they made my favorite burrito always on point, an egg, bean burrito extra beans. every day when I worked at a location nearby. burritos are huge like little babies and their team is super amazing and professional.

This one place is the real deal when it comes to authentic Mexican food! Stop wasting your time and money...

I have been a fan of Los Faves for years!! I have always had EXCELLENT service and food at the Gilbert location on Mesa Dr and Guadalupe and the old Mesa location on Lindsay and University. Unfortunately, this was not the case at this location on Main and Ellsworth with the exception of the guy who took my order. He was friendly and made sure I had everything I needed! The issue was what I observed while waiting for my food. The restaurant is very small, so while waiting I was able to watch the men behind the counter cooking/handling all the food. Neither of them were wearing gloves. One of the men used his hand to grab a handful of cheese to add to the top of my carne asada fries, then with the same hand he used both of his hands to grab a huge handful of meat to throw on the grill, again with same hand he openéd a small fridge under the counter ( I am not sure what he grabbed), but he proceeded to put it on the grill as well. Next, with THE SAME BARE HANDS, I watched him wipe his hands on his apron, then he grabbed two more handfuls of meat to throw on the grill!! To my knowledge, this screams cross contamination! In addition to this , our food was just ok, definitely not the quality I have had many times from other locations. Needless to say that due to the food handling practices I witnessed here I will not...
