This is without a doubt the best Asian restaurant in Yuma that we have been to and we have been to all the bigger ones. The facility is spotless clean; including the restrooms. The aroma inside is mouth watering. Wait staff are very attentive and very nice. Now the food. Everything was piping hot and fresh. I had General Tso's chicken and it came with fresh steamed broccoli. The correct amount of spice and sweetness with perfect steamed rice. It came with a spring roll; which I am not usually crazy about, but these were remarkably good. I ordered chicken egg roll and I am glad my better half talked us into it. A wee bit smaller than I am used to, but the flavor was there. Wished I would have ordered 2 more; however, with all of the food they brought out I couldn't finish what I had. Plenty of take home. My wife got the orange chicken and her comments were similar to my dish. She said it was the best orange chicken she ever ate and her fried rice on the side was tops. Again, we don't eat like when we were young, but had I still been a chowhound there would have still been food to take home. The cost? I think the price is fair in this day and age. I may have saved 10-12 bucks at fast food but no comparison there. Plus I honestly felt that I got what I paid for plus. Most other places I feel insulted by the portion size! This place rocks and we will be frequent flyers. Thanks Lemon Grass for an outstanding...
ย ย ย Read moreThe Lemon Grass Asian Cuisine restaurant is another hidden gem in Yuma, Arizona. I may be incorrect, but I think that this restaurant has not been in business longer than two years or so. But in the short time that they arrived here in the City of Yuma they sure have earned the good praise from most Yumans due to the great quality of their dishes. This is not a fast food establishment and you are definitely getting good, fresh, and well prepared dishes that are absolutely delicious.
Oh, and if you are into strong caffeinated coffee beverages I recommend that you try the Vietnamese cold coffee. But I have to warn you that this coffee is not an Arabica coffee, but a Robusta coffee that is packed with caffeine. Despite that the coffee is a Robusta type of coffee it definitely has a less bitter taste than most other robusta types of coffee beans from around the world. I definitely recommend it, but try to consume the beverage at least 4 to 6 hours before you go to sleep. Or else, youโll be finding yourself up and rearranging your house from top to bottom!
Oh, and the dishes are family style portions. So if you really want to try multiple dishes itโs best to bring the family, or good friends to come with you...
ย ย ย Read moreWonderful experience all around. The food was creative and cooked to order. Delicious. We had the Tomyum Seafood Noodle Soup. Lo Mein Black Pepper Beef. Spicy Thai Style Fried Chicken w/ fried rice. All the food 5 ๐. What was overly impressive, was the service. We ordered pick up. Done in a timely manner to the eta, (it was Valentine's so very very busy!) Received our order. We went back to the hotel. On the way I got a call to see if we still there. They had forgotten to put the noodles for the soup in the bag. Another sign of good food prep (not putting the noodles in until served) I said that's OK didn't want to drive back no worries. She called me back again saying they would deliver them!!! Said OK if they wanted to. Soon a knock on the door and the noodles were delivered. Not only the noodles but an extra box with delicious cake as a bonus. Totally not necessary the soup was great either way, but much appreciated especially on Valentine's Day. Will definitely be back again when we visit Yuma. I highly recommend you visit too. Thank you so much Lemon Grass Staff. Keep up...
