If you're looking for a place to unwind after a day on the lake in Hot Springs, Arkansas, Fisherman’s Wharf is a destination you don't want to miss. Nestled on the banks of Lake Hamilton, this charming restaurant offers not only a picturesque setting but also a delightful culinary experience.
I visited Fisherman’s Wharf after a fun-filled day on the lake, and the patio was the perfect place to end the evening. The view is stunning, with the sunset casting a warm glow over the water. The outdoor seating area is spacious, allowing for plenty of room to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The gentle breeze and the sound of water lapping against the shore create a soothing ambiance that instantly puts you at ease.
The menu has a wide range of options, but I opted for a classic choice: the Rib-Eye steak. It was cooked to perfection, with a juicy and tender texture that melted in my mouth. The flavor was rich and savory, with just the right amount of seasoning. It was clear that the kitchen takes pride in selecting high-quality cuts of meat and preparing them with care.
To accompany the steak, I had a fresh salad with a variety of crisp vegetables and a zesty dressing that added a refreshing touch. The side of potatoes was golden and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, providing a satisfying contrast to the steak. The green beans were another highlight, sautéed to perfection with a hint of garlic and a satisfying crunch.
As for the drinks, Fisherman’s Wharf does not disappoint. The cocktail menu features a range of creative options, and the bartender clearly knows their craft. I opted for a classic margarita, which was well-balanced with just the right amount of tartness and sweetness. It's a great choice for sipping while watching the sun set over the lake.
Overall, Fisherman’s Wharf is a gem in Hot Springs, offering a combination of great food, excellent drinks, and a stunning lakeside setting. Whether you're a local or a visitor, this restaurant provides a memorable dining experience that captures the essence of relaxation and enjoyment. It's the perfect spot to end a day on the lake, and I'll definitely be returning for another round of great food and...

One of the standout dishes at Fisherman's Warf is the Coconut Shrimp. These succulent morsels are perfectly battered and coated in shredded coconut, creating a crispy exterior that gives way to a tender, juicy shrimp. The accompanying dipping sauce adds a delightful tangy kick, enhancing the overall flavor experience!
Another culinary highlight at Fisherman's Warf is the Crab Cakes. These delectable cakes are made with premium crab meat, expertly seasoned with a blend of herbs and spices. The result is a delightful combination of flavors and textures, with a crispy exterior and a moist, flavorful interior. Paired with a zesty sauce, these crab cakes are a true indulgence for seafood lovers!

Read moreOn a little family vacation from Southeast Texas area. Right near the gulf coast and Cajun country. I truly know what good food taste like. We luckily found this place due to a Redit post. I knew we struck gold when we arrived at 1:30 on a random Tuesday and the place was packed. We have about 10 min for a seat to become available. Jason was our server and he was very friendly, and provided 5 star service! We tried their crab cakes, grouper, broiled catfish and fried shrimp. The sides we got were the new potatoes, green beans, hush puppies, fried okra, sweet broccoli salad, corn on the cob, French Fries and a Caesar salad ! In my opinion the best thing that touched our table was the crab cakes. Since I have so much to review I’ll write the name of the item and then a number to the right of it. Scoring system 1 - 10 (10 being perfect). I may possibly write a quick blurb about the item as well.
Crab Cakes - 9.5 Possibly the best I’ve had. Full of real crabmeat and seasoned to perfection. I would not visit this place and not grab at least one.
Grouper (Grilled) - 8.5 great seasonings and perfectly flaky.
Cajun Catfish (Broiled). 7
Fried Shrimp (Butterflied) 7.5
Hush puppies- 8.5 Not the best I’ve ever had but really really good. I’m definitely not mad at it.
New Potatoes- 8.5 Surprisingly I was wishing I got a double order of these. I’m glad our great waiter suggested these.
Fried Okra - 8 Solid choice.
Green Beans - 6.5 Taste just like what my sister used to make…….. right out of the can. JK just not really impressed but not bad.
Sweet Broccoli Salad - 9 Wow. Don’t sleep on this. Wonder flavor.
French Fries - 8.0 Great batter.
Caesar salad - 7 nothing too...
