I visited this shop on Monday, September 8th, 2025, at approximately 8:58 PM with my two kids. After purchasing a product, my elderly child urgently needed to use the restroom, so I politely asked the man at the counter if there was a restroom available. He simply said, "Restroom is locked." No explanation, no offer to help. I had to leave the shop and go to a nearby store just so my child could use the restroom. That kind of lack of basic courtesy is unacceptable, especially when dealing with families.

Shortly after the purchase, I looked at the product more closely and noticed that the expiration date had been tampered with. The original printed date was clearly April 2025, but someone had overwritten it to make it appear as 2026.

I returned to the counter to point it out. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, the man tried to argue with me. To defend his position, he grabbed another unit of the same product from the shelf and wiped the expiry date with his thumb—revealing the original printed date: April 2025. This confirmed that multiple items on the shelf had been deliberately altered.

What he didn’t know is that I’m an off-duty law enforcement officer. I recognized immediately that this wasn’t a one-off mistake — this was intentional product tampering, which is not only unethical but also illegal and dangerous to public health.

Between the deceptive practices, expired products, and lack of basic courtesy, I will never shop here again. I will also be reporting this incident to the proper authorities for further investigation.

Rude and bad customer service I went once and he shorted me out of my money by just $2 but it was the principal by the time I made it home. I noticed then the second time he was still rude just like the first time and the food was not as good as the last time I'ma have to go back to my old spot I moved and now I miss my old African places I used to go to. I called no answer this my 3rd time calling before I put this review if they would have answered we could have resolved this but this my 3rd time coming here never again I asked for my food to not have habanero peppers or any other spices and it was it was hot. I cannot enjoy my food. It's sitting here now. I am very disappointed.
