I’ll start with the good: 1) This place is well designed - a pool hall/lounge with food. It’s a good concept and I’d love to see what it’s like on a Saturday night 2) the pool sticks and tables are better quality than most places in the area and there is a wide variety of drinks. Now, on to the less than desirable things: 1) The staff do not seem to be adequately trained. I asked for my friend’s drinks on his tab to be transferred to mine and it took going back and forth for 15 minutes and even then they still couldn’t do it successfully. They also mistakenly gave my card to someone else who walked off with my credit card, causing me to void my card the day before I traveled out of town 2) Management/staff need to have more accountability for their mistakes. When they mistakenly gave someone my card, they told me that they charged both cards (mine and my friends). In fact, they just charged my friend’s card twice. So, they didn’t even put any charges on my card and gave my card to someone else. Then, they just said “sorry this happened - you should put a hold on your card” and expected me to leave. I instructed them on how to handle the situation (for example, I gave them my number and told them to text/call me if the person returned with my card). They also told me that they’d give me two drinks for free if I came back to compensate for the mistake. I’d like this to serve as a reminder that this is the HOSPITALITY industry. Handling situations like this is very poor. Furthermore, giving someone two drinks (which probably have an actual cost of only a few dollars) does not compensate for potential identity theft caused by your mistake and other burdens associated with cancelling and ordering a new card. In fact, it’s...
Read moreI decided to visit this place after reading several reviews praising their tables, and overall, it didn’t disappoint. Here’s a breakdown of my experience:
Pros: The tables are great, definitely live up to the hype. The place is clean and well-maintained. There are plenty of tables available, so there’s usually no long wait. The service is friendly. Pricing is reasonable, not as expensive as I expected. They provide snooker balls and cues, which is a nice touch.
Cons: Unfortunately, they don’t have a full-size snooker table, which might disappoint snooker fans. The spacing between tables is a bit tight, making some shots tricky—though this seems to be common in most pool bars. The cues could be better maintained or upgraded for a better playing experience. It was quite chilly inside, likely due to the glass walls. While there’s room for improvement, they’re definitely on the right track.
Overall, this place has a lot to offer, especially if you’re just looking for a fun and clean spot to play. With a few adjustments, it could easily become a go-to destination for pool and...
Read moreOne of the worst pool experiences I have ever had. Prices were not listed anywhere and when we closed out the women at the counter attempted to charge us 90 dollars for three hours of play. The prices were supposed to be 20 per hour, which is reasonable considering the tables are Chinese eight ball tables. However, after looking at the receipt, apparently this place not only charges per hour but also per person playing. This is common as well, but the receipt charged us for two hours with three people playing. When I mentioned this the women at the register argued with me for 15 minutes and refused to explain the situation to me. Also, the receipt adds 20% gratuity automatically even though we didn’t receive any service. Also this is one of the only pool halls where they don’t charge you per minute and calculate accordingly. Instead we played for 2 hours and 32 minutes according to their system and they rounded up to 3 hours. Seems to be a place for the owner to hang out with his friends and buy drinks for the women behind the bar. Not a serious place to play pool or...
