JIMMY'S BIG BURGERS — Restaurant in Arlington

I recently visited this hamburger joint with high expectations, eager to savor a delicious burger and some crispy fries. Unfortunately, my experience left me disappointed and unimpressed.

Upon receiving my order, the first thing I noticed was the sorry state of the hamburger bun. It was clearly overcooked, almost burnt the whole bun, which greatly affected the overall taste of the burger. The bun's burnt flavor dominated each bite, overshadowing the fillings and leaving a lingering unpleasant aftertaste.

To make matters worse, the fries were nothing short of a letdown. They were cold, old, and exceptionally hard, indicating that they had likely been sitting around for a while before being served to me. The lack of freshness and crunchiness in the fries made them nearly inedible.

Adding to my dismay, I witnessed another customer returning their hamburger. It seemed like they had experienced a similar disappointment. I couldn't help but suspect that the Asia cook mistakenly served me the previously returned hamburger, which only added to my dissatisfaction.

Overall, I cannot recommend this hamburger joint based on my experience. The subpar quality of the food, particularly the burnt bun and the old, hard fries, was a major letdown. This spot has a menu with almost everything on it. I came here with my family. I got the bacon cheeseburger with curly fries. My kids got the hot wings, cheeseburger, and corndog bites.

The negatives were the the fountain drinks was dirty. Meaning there's was stuff floating that was able to be seen in the clearer sodas they do give you an option of the bottle or fountain drink so opt for the bottled drink.

The corn dog bites wasn't a hit with my kid.

Customer Service was really good. They let me swap out my fountain for bottled drinks with no issues. The burgers was also pretty good, but nothing to drive across town for but very enjoyable. The hot wings was very delicious and was eaten to the bone.

Some reviews says this place is in a sketchy part of down I can see why, but for me it wasn't s problem being my family here. I came on a Saturday around lunch time.

Prices are good and the food is good. Cleanliness and the facts I can get better quality food will be the only thing keeping me from returning. However I'd your in the area give them a try like I did. My cleanliness issue was just just with the fountain drinks. I had no problems...

I'm that guy this time... I went just before closing. Sorry folx. I was starving and decided I wanted a burger. I've read the reviews and had sworn I'd been here before but I thought they used to be on Division years ago. I ordered the habanero burger and modded it to death adding everything I could. The food was super hot and ultra fresh. I took my order to go. Because I was that guy but not THAT guy! They had my order ready in a few minutes and when I finally got home it was still super hot and mega delicious! I've tried to find the perfect burger and I think I might've found it. I might need to polish my specific order but for a "first" impression this is the best burger I've had yet in Arlington! There may be a few more places I need to try but I'm in no hurry now that I know this place is as ultra as it is. Super juicy, Ultra flavourful, mega giant and as fresh as it gets! And the young lady taking my order was perfect! She was polite and professional throughout my entire ordering process. And that's no easy task because I added a lot of stuff! I would highly recommend giving this place a try. You will not be disappointed! I'll be back for sure....
