Upon our visit to the restaurant, we received prompt seating and were greeted courteously. Although the sweet tea I ordered was overly sweet and tasted like sugar syrup, the server quickly addressed the issue and brought water as requested. Despite this setback, my favorite Dim Sum dishes, Har Gow, Shrimp Rice Noodle Rolls, and Red Bean Sesame Balls, were delicious and reminiscent of those from a beloved Dim Sum place in Southern California.
While the service required us to flag down the server at times, the staff was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant's spacious interior with over 20 tables provides ample seating for groups of 4-6 per table and offers the choice of ordering from an extensive menu or selecting from their Dim Sum options. Despite the weekend rush, we were lucky to have arrived at a less busy time, with a sudden influx of a large wedding party making the restaurant even busier.
Though I left satisfied from indulging in my favorite dim sum dishes, I was disappointed by the house-fried rice, which lacked freshness and flavor. Notably, the rubbery texture of the chicken in the dish left my friend feeling disheartened as she had been eagerly anticipating the meal. If you're also a fan of Har Gow, Shrimp Rice Noodle Rolls, and Red Bean Sesame balls you have to try this spot.
Overall, while the dim sum offerings were a highlight, the inconsistency in dishes and occasional service lapses signify room for improvement at...
Read moreIt was my first time going there, I asked the reception for a table but she didn’t speak English, I don’t know why a resturaunt would make a non English speaker a receptionist, I was trying to ask for a table for 4 but she got upset is pointed at me and did hand movements to tell me to follow her, when she gave us a table it was too small, it was near the window and it had 2 seats, I asked her for the table beside and she did hand movements again saying whatever and left. Later the food cart came and there was only 4 things to choose from, they had about 20-25 dishes in the cart. We got 2 bao and 2 beef and vegetables. We ordered fried rice too. The food was not good. The bao was about 90% batter and there was little to zero beef in the beef and vegetables, just vegetables. We then got some pork but it was bland. When we asked for the check they charged us $65+tax, it was outrageous because the portions we received for very small, yet not good. When I asked them why it was so high they said because of the inflation of us goods and gas. We are struggling too!!! We paid the bill and after that we heard them speaking chinese behind us, and they kept looking at us, luckily my friend spoke Chinese and knew what they were saying. Apparently they were talking about how americans don’t know culture and other stuff. We left. This is the best place to go to if you want to get robbed for trash food and...
Read moreExpected a better experience. Been to a lot of dim sum places around the states and this has been the most disappointing. The dim sum definitely came from the fridge and just heated up moderately before they opened. Not your regular go-to place unless you liked cold food served. We were the first table on a Sunday morning and upon sitting down 6-7 ppl abruptly crowded around us without any space to order at the spot. I believe they were also training new staff. We didn’t even get a chance to think about what we wanted nor given a menu to know what they had. They also tried to mimic the Hong Kong style service but the entire place had only three carts. One cart had all the mixes of fried and steam food, which is not recommended for those with dietary restrictions because it can cross contaminate seafood and meats. The steamed Chang fun (wrapped rice noodle) was extremely thick, bland, and again cold. Not really sure where all the good came from because they...
