Horrible customer service. Waiter named: Mago was rude, it's the 2nd time we have and incident with her. she is rude to me and my family. When she was taking our order her tone of voice was like she was in a rush. We waited 45 minutes for our food we could see from a distance how the cooks were cooking the food leaving it out for them to bring it to us, meanwhile Mago our waiter was chitchatting behind the counter doing nothing. And then went to the restroom taking her sweet time. Meanwhile we were wondering why other people were getting their food sooner than us, and we wondered if that food that was sitting there was ours or not. low and behold, it was our food. When I approached the cashier to ask about our food, a manager stepped in said it would be right out. But I never got an apology for the incident. The huarache was cold, hard tacos were soggy hard, since it was sitting in the warmer for so long. I'm embarrassed for bringing my parents who are in town to a place that doesn't care about customer service. We were a party of 6 people. Turns out after questing timing of food, the whole time Mago was slacking since she was on her way off her shift with a cynical smirk she walked out saying your food will be out. She smirked when we said yeah y'all took super long. Her response was a 2nd smirk. And the restaurant was half empty. When paying, we expressed our dissatisfaction to cashier who made a face of annoyance, and got an attitude saying well there was a shift change. I told him the most sensible, and gentle thing to do is to approach customers and let them know I am leaving but the next waited will take care of you. And that's not an excuse for not checking on us as customers she never returned to check on us. And they messt up out tickets and mixed items on our tickets. All because of Mago. And the way Mago took out order. The young man charging is never apologized just got a bad attitude with us. The other waiter was more attentive, but we still left unhappy we spent 100 dollars on bad customer service and cold hard food, I'm so upset. The food when they actually care about the business is supposed to be good, but your employees ruined it for us. It's a bad look for a business, to have incompetent people running your business. Learn from places like Chik fil a they serve with excellence and outstanding customer service and guess what? I, a million times would rather go over there than come back here. They actually value customers that's why you see Chik fil a packed out from open to close with 1 entree chicken they are whooping your butt, and your supposed to be an actual restaurant, not a fast...
Read moreJust experienced the worst service ever after coming to this location on multiple occasions! An issue that was so small turned into a huge misunderstanding and due to the miscommunication the owner over the phone told the crew to call the police. Last time coming here, not the right way to treat a customer.
The response from the owner is not what happened. The waitress never came to check on me until about 30 minutes after she left my meal therefore not allowing me the opportunity to ask for better quality tortillas before my alambres got cold.
When the waitress finally came to my table I explained the tortilla situation and asked her if the restaurant would consider removing the alambres from my ticket not once did I say I was not going to pay for it. When she came back to my table she said they could not remove, at that point I asked for the box to take the alambres with me since I was paying for them.
When I got to the cashier I asked to speak to the manager/owner so that I could talk to them about the waitress not checking on me and the quality of the tortillas. At that time I was told that they had called the owner and the owner told them to call the police if I did not pay, I then told the cashier then I never said that I was not going to pay for the alambres. The cashier never apologized and after I left my contact info. For the owner to call me back which they still have not, she said she would think about getting my info. To the owner.
So like I said in my original review, something that was such a small issues turned into a conversation involving the police, obviously the waitress and cashier need customer service training, because the waitress did not communicate correctly to the cashier, and the cashier did not handle the situation correctly either when I tried to explain what happened and I professionaly communicated that I did not understand why the owner thought it would be appropriate to cal the police when I was only asking if they would take off the alambres not demanding. I have been to this restaurant numerous times, they do not have the best service but good food, but after my experience I will not be back.
Still waiting for the owner to call me to discuss. I believe the fact that the owner posted the response below without even calling me back to the discuss the situation, with only one sided information from store employees that did not handle the situation appropriately...

I came in to eat with my friends and ordered a sope, I wanted birria tacos and didn’t want to order a plate of 5 so the waitress (heavy set Mexican lady’s who is a manager or claimed to be) told us she can charge me individually. I ordered two. She brought them out and they were not the birria tacos with the conseme and cheese. She brought dry tacos with dry birria meat cilantro and onions. I told her I wanted birria tacos. She said that’s the birria tacos. I have to get the plate to get them with cheese and conseme. That’s not what she told me when I asked for them single and showed her the picture. I asked her to switch them to street tacos. I never ate the other two and yet she tried to force me to pay for them. I told her I never ate them and I’m not paying for them after you told me wrong. I went to the front and after arguing with the guy she told him to take them off. The cashier thought I ate them and I told him no I didn’t and I asked him to translate what she said in Spanish to English because I don’t speak Spanish but my friends with me did. He said “ do you really want to know what she said?.” Rude customer service. I would be fired from my customer service job if I did this. All this over 2 tacos and I still won. I didn’t pay for them so what did they get besides loosing 3 customers and my friends used to go all the time. I hope this place closes down and they loose...
