Pioneer Restaurant is just like the sign. Hood Food! They need to add at good prices. Under thirty dollars for my wife and son having full breakfast meals. Place was easy to find right off the main road with the huge sign. Parking was easy as they had their own parking lot with plenty of space. We walked in got seated right away. Our waitress Denise came almost immediately to take get drinks and take order. Food ca.e very fast. We all had the french toast and sausage. I always ask for melted butter an they brought me a good size cup of some. They brought the French toast and I was a little disappointed because it was not the Texas toast as seen in the previews. But it was good had very good flavor and you could taste the cinnamon. The sausage was average taste like Jimmy dean. And the smoked sausage was a waste of money as it was just your genetic supermarket sausage. Overall the food was great alot of flavor, that gave us enough where we were full and the waitress we very attentive and got our order right with all the extra stuff.

This was a review find on Google and Yelp and we were NOT disappointed!! This is a HIDDEN GEM!! Been here for 40yrs. You might think that they could slack after that long….NOPE! This was the busiest place we ate breakfast all week. The server (Brandy) was helpful with the menu and explained all options even telling us how we could make the cream gravy sausage gravy is we wanted it. The corned beef hash was so flavorful, and the eggs were a perfect over medium just how my daughter asked for them. My eggs were perfect as well, and my hash browns were more crispy as I had asked. The buttermilk biscuits were HUGE and homemade and had a great fluffy light texture that almost fell apart but held up amazingly to the grandma’s cream gravy!!! I see why now the gravy does not have sausage……it does not need it!!! I asked for a bit more gravy since the order comes with two massive biscuits and she happily got me some more. This is a wonderful place that went directly to the top of our list for the week.

First visit 6-23-2024 Me-Pork chop and eggs, hash browns, and biscuits n gravy Pork chops were on the smaller side and thin cut, cooked very well didn't dry out for being so thin. Eggs cooked good, a little runny, but not bad. Hash browns had a very soft texture to them and tasted great. Biscuits and gravy tastes good.. biscuits were a bit hard on the outside, but once open they were nice and soft. Wife- fajita omelet, hash browns, and biscuits n gravy. She's normally picky about her hash browns, but she didn't complain about these, she enjoyed them very much. Fajita had a good flavor alone, so I imagine with the onions and green peppers it's had a better taste added to it. Will definitely visit again and try something else. Probably won't get the Pork chop n eggs again, but inwokt rule it out completely.

Today I came in with a party of 8 we’re visiting from Kansas and we’re all exhausted from the trip. As we waited for our food a whole hour later our table got the food except for me. I waited for about 40 minutes while my table ate and I still had no food. While it may not be the waiters fault, she was very polite and said she would ask the manager to see if she could get my order off the ticket, but to go ahead and eat my food. About 5 mins later the waitress comes back and apologizes and states that the manager said since I touched the food and ate some of it she could not get it taken off the ticket per her manager Mia. Safe to say I have never felt so disgusted and disrespected in my life until today never have I had such bad experience at a restaurant let alone experience the greediness from a person in a managerial position to rather throw the food out than let me eat it as my friends decided to wait for me. She chose to escalate things further when the waitress had tried to de-escalate, she messed with the waitress tips as my friends agreed the service was awful and that is not how customer service goes. For this reason my friends and I will no longer visit, I left embarrassed and disgusted for no reason shame to the manager Mia and her staff and to the waitress that tried her best I know it wasn’t your fault it was the poor management...

We usually go to this restaurant at least once or twice a month. We have enjoyed it for the past two years but unfortunately today we had a bad experience because the waitresses insisted up on having a conversation about their periods….they had this conversation and the manager on duty never told them to stop. She never came and apologized to the customers for being on unpleasantly entertained by their conversation about their periods, and then on the way out as I talked to the cashier about it, she became offended that I was complaining, and when I told her that it was disrespectful, and that my girls would never disrespect their dad by talking about their periods in front of him…..she sarcastically said well “I feel sorry for your daughters”….then I heard one of them say “well goodbye” so my husband and I left and did not tip. We usually always tip, but this was very disrespectful. The conversation was very disrespectful and not only were they talking about there periods……they were laughing and talking so loudly where everyone could hear them. I was raised differently. I am older, and I feel like young girls need to be taught better and to...

Years of serving good food is the reputation. I have made this a lunch destination whenever I have business anywhere near the area. Delicious food & waitresses that called me honey was why. This week I received substandard food and surly service. Lunch plate with meatloaf, mashed potatoes, green beans & roll should've been a treat. The meat & potatoes were buried under viscous brown gravy that tasted canned. Meatloaf should have a tomato based sauce. This version was foul. One dry cornbread muffin instead of a fluffy dinner roll? I asked for roll and was told "l'll have to charge you extra. Is that okay?" When i was ordering the meal, I wasn't asked what bread I'd prefer (previously I'd get one of each) so no. It wasn't okay. Total interaction was: my order was taken, food put on the table, bill put on the table, money taken. I had a sense that the staff had not one care about me. That is not the dining experience I prefer. So different from my previous experiences I have to wonder (1) if the business has been sold and (2) if I...
