Visit Attempt: 4th Date: 05/04/2025 Time of Arrival: Approximately 3:45–3:50 PM
This was our fourth visit to this location, and sadly, it was by far the most frustrating and disappointing.
We were seated promptly and greeted by our server, who brought four waters and a tea fairly quickly. She offered an appetizer, and we ordered the sampler, which arrived in a reasonable time. After that, we placed our entrée orders: buffalo chicken salad, buffalo bites meal, BLT meal, and a tender wing basket.
After placing our order, we waited over 55 minutes with no food. During that time, we observed at least seven tables, all seated after us — some with larger parties — receive their meals, eat, and leave.
What stood out most was the lack of awareness and attention from our server. She passed by our table numerous times, made eye contact, even delivered food to other tables around us, but never once stopped to check on our order or provide an update.
Eventually, she informed us of a server shift change. The new server came by, introduced himself, and said the food would be out shortly. But it still didn’t come. After more time passed and even more tables were served, I called him over and asked him to check on our food.
The original server then returned and said something unclear. I told her directly: if the food hadn’t been prepared yet, we didn’t want it. We’d simply pay for the appetizer and leave. She responded, “No, it’s in… well, I’m not sure. I’ll go check.”
Shortly after, the new server came back and said the food was on the way. Still, more time passed. Then, another woman (not one of our two servers) brought out the food, said they were “backed up,” offered excuses, and said to let her know if we needed anything.
When the new server came by again, I asked what happened. He finally admitted that our ticket had been lost. They had no idea where it went or how long the food had been sitting.
By this point, we were understandably upset — not just by the delay, but by the lack of honesty. We had given the staff an opportunity to cancel the order if it hadn’t been made. Instead, we were told it was “on the way” several times, only to find out the ticket was lost and the food had been delayed even further.
When we checked the food, it was cold — chicken tenders, BLT, buffalo bites, fries — all cold. Only the salad was acceptable. My son ate the bites, but my daughter and I didn’t eat our meals.
When the server returned, I told him my food was cold and I no longer wanted it. He apologized and took the plate back. In the end, only my son ate anything. The rest of us left hungry and packed up food we weren’t planning to eat.
The manager eventually came over with a gift card for a free appetizer and said she had the wings redone. While the gesture was appreciated, it didn’t address the real issue: we came to dine in and were left waiting for over an hour, only to receive cold food, unclear communication, and no real accountability.
This experience was frustrating from start to finish. We were courteous, patient, and respectful throughout the visit, yet we were repeatedly overlooked and given contradictory information. We were told the food was coming, only to later learn the ticket had been lost entirely. That’s not a service delay — that’s a breakdown in operations and communication.
I strongly encourage upper management to review the footage from this date and time to fully understand how this unfolded. The food was rushed out, never quality-checked, and clearly not freshly made. Cold tenders, cold BLT, cold fries, cold bites — all unacceptable for any restaurant.
We also felt misled. Had we been told the truth when we asked if the order had been placed, we would have respectfully canceled and left. Instead, we were told what we wanted to hear, and the result was a ruined meal and an even worse experience.
At this point, I don’t think this location is a good fit for us. I hope this review helps drive meaningful improvement because no guest should leave feeling...
Read moreOh men… Where do I start… I was excited to spend time with my family on father’s day, but this place left me no desire to ever come back again….
I will be posting one of my lengthiest reviews so far because there was so much that others need to know, and this is not exactly what I expected out of a restaurant with so much competition around and that I used to cater out of many years ago. You have to stand out and be the best and keep upgrading and updating with the times.
So, here we go…
Anyhow, the food was awful. Not sure this is how the founders wanted their restaurants to be run (I actually had a lot if time to read their old, sticky and dirty menus that has the history of how pluckers was founded by 3 friends) It is important this review is read by the restaurant manager as they sure need to retrain their staff and take a good look at the cooks, because they don’t know how to run tickets to ensure meals are delivered complete and not in parts.
Plucker Founders: If you need someone to check what is good and bad with your restaurants, contact me and I will be honest and fair… I can make sure I give you a detailed report of your restaurants.
At the restaurant manager: Not the best experience for a Father’s Day… Looks like you need to hold people accountable so this doesn’t happen again.
This review is not meant to upset anyone, but to make sure things are looked at and improve for future clientele.
I usually take pictures of my food, but this time I had no desire to do so, because food took so...
Read moreThe wings: AMAZING as always. Tonight, the service and overall front of house was absolutely terrible. It took 20 minutes for our server to come to our table. She took the order for an 8-top behind us, then straight over to take a 5-top's order, then over to us. You can imagine how the rest of the night went. After we ordered, it took 15 minutes just to get our Cokes. The food came out correctly, and it was delicious. Our drinks were empty, and asked our server for refills. She grabbed our cups, walked away with them and didn't come back with them. There were problems with the food at her 8-top and basically every other table around including us were completely ignored. A kitchen manager came to the 8-top, but it didn't occur to him to check on the other guests, or at least direct someone else to. When you're looking around waiting for things constantly, and see several employees chatting and hanging around the point of sales and kitchen area, it's just plain aggravating. How does no one notice we have no drinks for 30 plus minutes? Then, we waited 30 more minutes after we finished eating for the check. My husband had to get up and ask the kitchen manager that was standing behind the host stand for the check. The 5-top was doing the same thing, walking around trying to pay their bill. He asked a different server to bring us our check, and she ran our credit card at the take-out point of sales behind the host stand. She was gracious and apologized to us. But three hours just to eat wings and tater tots, from 9pm-midnight. There was a supervisor of some sort, wearing a hat, that was getting drink refills and bringing checks to some tables around us. Our server went missing for long periods of time. We didnt want to complain, just wished the supervisor or even another server would've stepped up to at least bring our basic things like drinks and the check. My husband went to the restroom at one point, and there was an employee sitting on the sink smoking his vape. I'm sure all of this is unacceptable to the standards of the company. You have a great product, but you definitely need someone paying...
