Summary: Long Wait, Poor Communication, Incorrect order, Friendly Staff, Great Food.
Looking to try something new, my wife and I placed an order for pickup at 1:15pm. We ordered the "Holy Aoli", the "Bad Mutha Clucka", and a side of Chili Cheese Fries (Order # 641647573 for ref). The order confirmation stated our food would be ready at 1:37pm. We were already in the area because of some other errands for our dog, so we got there around 1:23pm.
We parked outside and waited until 1:37pm, and then I went inside to pick up our order. The cashier was very friendly and told me that the food wasn't quite ready yet. He said that it would be ready in about five minutes. Unfortunately, I ended up waiting quite a bit longer.
When I asked why, I was told that my food had been pushed back to prioritize the diners who were eating in the restaurant - specifically because the restaurant was too full, and they wanted to help keep diners socially distant by speeding up diner turnover.
I definitely understand the sentiment, and I support taking steps to keep the clientele safe from Covid. But the problem is that by pushing back the online pickup order, I myself had to spend more time in the establishment around the other diners. I feel like this defeats the purpose somewhat, especially when we chose the takeout option in support of social distancing ourselves.
The food was finished and brought out at around 2pm. The cashier checked the contents of the bag against the receipt and told me the order was correct and I was good to go.
We got home, took everything out of the bag... and the order wasn't correct. We were given two of the "Holy Aoli" burgers, but no "Bad Mutha Clucka" chicken sandwich.
Irksome as all the above was, the food was excellent. The aoli burger, despite not being what I ordered, was very VERY good. The flavor profile was top notch. And the Chili Cheese Fries were exactly what you would want when you order Chili Cheese Fries. Honestly, the food was the saving grace here. I likely would have written the restraunt off entirely if the food wasn't so great.
Not sure if the managers read these things or not, but if I could just make a small recommendation. I wasn't upset about the long wait (Stuff happens. I get it.) - I was upset because I wasn't told in advance that the time on my order confirmation wasn't accurate. I feel like we give our contact info during the order process to make sure we can be reached if there's some kind of delay or problem. I'm no expert on the subject, but maybe if there's a way to push the time back on the confirmation emails that could help during busy hours? I honestly would have been comfortable waiting another 15 minutes or so if I had been told in advance. As it stands, I was given a time, and had to wait nearly an additional half an hour for an order that wasn't right.
Despite this irritating experience, I would definitly recommend the DogHaus for the food. I would just recommend dining in instead of takeout...

The last time I tried to place an order they confirmed it, and then they never made it. I watched for over the course of an hour, three doordash drivers go and try to pick up my order. Each one wasted their time waiting until they got turned away by the store. This was in the middle of lunch and it took over an hour for them to tell their doordash system on their end that they weren't going to make my order. I missed my lunch break because of their carelessness. I had more than enough time to order my food and eat it....But an hour...... just to say that you can't make it..... dude, that's careless and really inconsiderate. I don't even want to patronize here in person anymore.
02/01/2024 : Edit: They offer vegan chili cheese tots that usually has a vegan nacho cheese and chives on it. But whenever I keep ordering online they keep fumbling and not putting the cheese or chives on it. This time it was sliced cheese and completely weird. I'm starting to get agitated with the inconsistency. Because the first time I ever ordered it, it was perfect. Each time after that there's always been a problem to where I have to report it to DoorDash and get a refund. And whenever I want to call you guys and just inform you about it. I can't because your number is wrong or not working on Google.

We ordered three impossible burgers and three cheese fries through DoorDash today, May 28th, at about 6pm. Our driver texted me to tell me that when he got there, he was told to wait 15 mins because they were still making our food, causing our delivery to be late. When our food finally arrived, every single item in our order was wrong! All three orders of fries were missing the cheese, 2/3 burgers were missing avocado, and 2/3 burgers were missing caramelized onions. Mind you, we paid extra for all of these missing toppings! The burgers themselves were so small, roughly thrown together, and definitely not worth the $12+ dollars I paid for each burger, without adding the extra cost of the fries. We don't really tend to go out a lot, and due to quarantine, we are trying to save as much money as possible. We wanted to celebrate and order a nice meal tonight, and we were excited to know we had vegetarian options. We spent over $77 dollars on this order due to the now evident overpriced cost of your menu plus delivery costs. We had such high expectations. Imagine our deep disappointment at this experience. To top it all off, we tried calling the restaurant to share our experience and were immediately placed on hold. After 10 mins we hung up an tried calling again with no response. We have tried calling for 30 mins now and still nothing. I would love to comment on the taste, or the quality of the food itself, but at this point, I feel that I would not be able to give a fair assessment based on this negative experience, and to be honest, we have NO interest in ever buying food from...
