Read moreThis place was a bitter disappointment. We picked it for a large family gathering, number one, because we thought it was a real hibachi restaurant. As in this definition of hibachi that I got off of the Internet. “ Hibachi dining is an interactive experience where customers sit around a large communal table and watch chefs cook right in front of them. ”. And with hibachi right in the name of the restaurant, we all assumed that that is what this was. It was not. It was a very small diner like setting. The only reason I’m giving them three stars is because the people that worked there were so nice. And the second reason we went there is because the reviews were so high. Although I can’t for the life of me, see how this place is rated 4.5 stars. I would never recommend this place to...
Read moreIt was a good experience Small establishment. We ate at the dining room tables up front, but did not see any Habachi type tables in the place. Also, there is no sushi bar to sit at.
We decided to order hot green tea, which came with a cup of hot water and tea bags... Yeah, kinda took away from the experience.
To the Nagiri rolls. Chicken Tempura roll... Weird, chicken finger in a Nagiri roll, with cucumber and rice. Really fat rolls so be aware
Shrimp Tempura roll was as expected, fried shrimp in with cucumber and rice , also a fat roll
Spicy Salmon roll...minced salmon with a hot sauce, nice
Philly roll, salmon with cream cheese and cucumber... Not my cup of tea
Eel and Avocado roll, with a sweet sauce and cucumber. Very nice.
Would I go back, no, there are other places in the area that will have a better atmosphere and options...
