We asked for a strawberry cheesecake shake… it showed up on the electronic thing as a regular cheesecake shake. We attempted to clarify it three times before she added a whole other shake. We said no. Strawberry cheesecake not just cheesecake. She just kept repeating cheesecake. My dad has dementia and it’s literally his favorite thing. I’ve never had it but I know that it’s pink. I get it for him at least once a week. So we finally gave up on arguing with the lady and said okay maybe she’s gonna remember it’s strawberry and she just put it in wrong. Well the guy comes out with a white shake so I know it’s wrong because like I said, I get it very often and it’s always pink! Then we spent a while arguing with him over it, he took it back and brought out the same exact one and said it’s right and for me to taste it. I don’t even know what it tastes like all I know is the strawberry cheesecake shake is pink and this isn’t it. So I finally give up on arguing with him because he’s seriously the most illiterate person I’ve ever spoken to. And I get home with the wrong thing and now my dad is mad. I can’t even go back and pay for a different one because whatever staff that they have working tonight apparently don’t know what a strawberry is??!? I felt so gaslit they just kept repeating it’s a cheesecake shake… yeah we know… but we repeatedly asked and attempted to clarify that we needed a strawberry cheesecake shake? I don’t want to pay for something we didn’t want nor ask for.
The picture is of one of his old shakes that’s in the freezer and the shake they gave us. I don’t know why they argued with us for so long!! It’s...
Read moreMy son and I were in a hurry to an event, on a budget, but hungry. We decided to stop at Sonic on Bowen on the way. We ordered 2 dbl cheeseburgers and shared a fry and 44oz strawberry limeade drink. Easy enough, right? NOT! To start, they weren't busy, only a couple of cars besides us. It still took 15 minutes for the order to come. The carhop brings the order that came to $15 something. I handed him a $20 and he has the nerve to ask, "How would I like my change?" Really?!?! When did it become etiquette to start asking for a tip? Was he taught that during training or came up with that on his own? Regardless, I told him to keep $2. Now, we start eating and the food isn't hot, we only have one napkin, and my drink is...well damn near empty. My son and I got two drinks and then nothing. I open the cup, and it's almost completely full of ice. Wth?!? I ask the passing carhop for a refill, which she isn't sure she can do. The carhop that brought our order stops, and I explain the situation to him. Before he goes inside, he explains that the manager isn't very nice but he will check. Nobody came back. Nobody says nothing. WOW! I paid for a 44oz drink to not even barely get more than a couple swigs? That's how we do things at this Sonic? Ok, well you just lost a customer and I will be sure to share my crappy experience...
Read moreYou know I usually love this sonic but tonight when I came here I had a bad experience the manager on shift at this store was so rude and said the shakes weren't working I said ok and ordered something else, when the homie Jayden came out with my buddy's order which was icecream I asked if it was working because the lady said it wasn't, he said yeah it's working they just lazy, I then saw the manager running a order to a car and asked if it was working she said no and asked if she wanted me to have her check it, so for the principal of things I said yes I would like her to check it, she then asked if I wanted to come in and have her show me that it's not working, she must be new and not know how an icecream machine works because when she "showed me" she just grabbed the handed and didn't even move it, as someone who has experience in using a very similar machine I know you have to pull the handle down, I just wanna make sure this poor lady gets proper training on a machine she should know how to use as a manager, I then dabbed up my boy Jayden and left, I didn't want her to check because I was mad, but for the principal of things. I hope I have a better...
