I stayed at the Days Inn from August 29-31. I was very unhappy! When we checked in the gentleman behind the counter was very nice. But, when we went in to our room the toilet wouldn’t flush and my son got stuck in the bathroom because the door wouldn’t open. I went and told the gentleman and he switched us rooms. But, we got downgraded rooms. And I still had to pay the full price of the other room! The beds were smaller and the room was not as nice. The next morning when I got up to take a shower the towels looked like something I would take out of my garage after being used to work on a car. They were nasty! I managed to find two clean towels out of 7. Thank goodness my boys brought their own towels. When I booked my hotel it said it included a breakfast. Nope, no breakfast! I was told every excuse in the book why there was not one. False advertising! When I checked out I told the gentleman behind the counter that I was not satisfied! Of course they did nothing to make it right. Again with the excuses! I was given a business card and told to call the manager. I have tried several times and all the phone does is ring! When I checked out I asked if there was anything else I needed to do. I was told no! We left the room in good condition. Just a pizza box and In &Out bag. Plus the trash cans had trash. We put all the trash together and all the towels together for easy cleaning. Well I went into my bank account today and they took another $118 from my account for no reason! We didn’t buy any movies or make any calls! There was no reason for them to take more money out of my account! I tried to call the manager and of course all the phone does is ring!!! This has been the worse hotel stay ever! And I have stayed in a lot!! I’m very unhappy about the whole situation! They need to give me back the extra money they took from me! And it would be nice if someone would actually pick up the phone so I can talk to someone about this situation!!!
The manager called me and was very nice! We talked about everything that happened and how the stay made me feel. He was very kind and understanding. He did what he could do to help make the situation right. I was very happy that he took the time and listened to my concerns. He welcomed my feedback and in a situation where he could have been rude, he was very kind. I’m satisfied with the response and very grateful we were able to resolve this situation. I will go back and be happy to give them another chance! Thank for your kindness! It was very appreciated! So problems were...
Read moreEdit: the response from the owner is flat out lies. For one i never demanded a full refund. Not once. The person working when I checked in never offered me a full refund if i left. He simply stated that if i had a peoblem i could talk to the manager in the morning. As stated below, i thought they would give a giftcard/goody bag/small credit for the inconvenience. As other hotels have done if somwthing you were offered and paid for was unavailable. I know as my husband travels a lot for work and i have had to travel more as of late. When the discussion with whiever i talked to in the morning was happening, no other employees were around. I explained the situation, and never raised my voice. I think 1 patron came in at the very end, but by that time, the conversation was done. Again, never 1 asked for a full refund, especially since I stayed the night. I did state I wouldn't stay at a Days Inn anymore and I won't. I've had wonderful experiences at the holiday Inn and suites as well as Marriott. I dont mind paying more forngood customer service. And yes im teaching mu children to honor their word.
1 booked this hotel in advance for my nieces graduation. Had my 2 children with me. One of the requirements I used to search for hotels was breakfast was included since I had my 2 young children. I booked this location because it said breakfast was included. When I arrived we asked and the man on duty said breakfast wasn't included. I inquired then about it and the man said well my manager was be here tomorrow, you can speak to him about it. I spoke to him in the morning, explained the situation and he was very RUDE. Said I could of left in the middle of the night with 2 children, if I didn't like it. Also, if I had checked the main website it states that they don't serve breakfast. He refused to give a credit or gift card/goody bag. When I stated I won't stay at a Days Inn again. He said, "ok, we will be just fine." So this company will continue to false advertise on 3rd party sites to get your business and not honor what it says. Do not stay here. Sadly, i know he would of treated a man differently. Room was left in good order and we checked out...
Read moreFirst of all, I booked this hotel because it met MY needs which were, a decent hotel close to the stadiums/six flags for a decent price that I can just use to keep my clothes, shower and sleep. That need was met. I was walking distance to att stadium/global life. Six flags was also walkable but I took a share ride. The staff was very friendly, ESPECIALLY the two gals that greeted me Friday night at check in! Those smiles lit me up every time!! I had clean sheets/towels and was told more would be available on request, but I didn't need extra as I was traveling alone. My only issues were maintenance issues. There seemed to be a small water leak causing the carpet directly behind the shower/sink area to be very moist and the shower was not working properly. Water would come out from both the shower head and the lower faucet causing the water to quickly get ankle deep. But I did get hot/cold water with no issues. Every morning they offered coffee/water bottle, fruit, a muffin/cookie which was fine with me as I was not promised a full on breakfast. I feel the issue here is upper management not assisting with maintenance issues that the hotel is needing fixed. The staff I dealt with seemed to care about my issues but I could tell they were not getting help from the people that could get things done for them. This is a decent hotel that could use a little upkeep to make it much better. But I would not hesitate to stay here again. If you're looking for luxuries, this isn't the place for you. If you simply need a safe, comfort place to sleep/shower and be close to Arlington's entertainment area, this...
