I hear the News that Starbucks had a poor 1st quarter 2024. Its no wonder. Two days in a row Ive had to turn my car around and return to the drive thru. Yesterday I went in and talked to the Mgr because it was so bad. Guys, you can and should do so much better. If you're serving hot coffee and even hotter bfast sandwiches you must give at least one napkin! Twice now Ive burned myself badly. Yesterday the drive thru attendant was so rude, and no napkins. I went back thru the drivethru, asked for napkins and told her she'd upset me and why. She tried to blame me by saying she was trying to talk to 2 people at the same time. I said well I wouldve waited til you were done. Still she tried to shift the blame. No I was not rude at all. So, the Mgr promised to take care of it. It happened again the very next day- totally different employee though. Rude employees, no concern for customers and inconsistent coffee drinks one day to the next. That about sums it up Starbucks! Oh and I ordered the Tall or small size today. My cup was just over halfway...
Read moreI came in here to order a regular coffee to go. Should’ve been short and sweet. Far from it!!! I’ve come to this location for years. I know how the coffee should taste. It was way too strong. I asked for a fresh pike, still way too strong. I did tell the assistant manager it was way too strong. So I asked for some hot water to try and fix it myself. Then it sort of started tasting ok but got a little too watered down so I asked for an espresso shot to fix it but was denied. So I asked for an Americana and was denied. So I just asked for my money back. Then I stood at the register with the lady for a long time with her not knowing how to refund my money to Apple Pay and then decided to leave because I had wasted time there and still didn’t get a decent cup of coffee. I placed an online order for a venti latte with an extra shot of espresso and 2 pumps of sugar free vanilla syrup. Arrived to pickup my order and as soon as I picked up my cup, I noticed it felt empty. There was literally 1/4 cup of liquid in my venti cup.
I pulled the lid off and nicely asked the Barista if she could add some more milk, coffee, something, in my venti cup as it was only a quarter filled. Her response, "That's how they come. They're mostly just foam. I compare them to a bag of Lay's potato chips because you know, you get mostly air. "
I am sure the look on my face said it all. Keep in mind, I USE to go to Starbucks daily for years; sometimes twice a day, so I know better. However, I wasn't about to argue with her and be precieved as a "Karen"
