Let's talk about the coffee at this gem of a coffee shop. I tried the Iced White Chocolate Tiramasu a couple of weeks ago and the Light Roast House Coffee today. The Iced WCT wasn't too, sweet and had a great flavor. Today I ordered the light roast drip coffee. I was asked if I wanted light or dark roast. When I asked if there was a medium roast, I was told the light roast is a light- medium roast. IMO it is a full bodied medium roast. Just like the Iced coffee it had a nice flavor without the bite and acidity of the popular chain next door and in the Tom Thumb, also next door.

During my second visit I also tried a gluten free (friendly) waffle. Since I am either gluten sensitive or celiac (not sure which) and know someone who worked in the kitchen at this location briefly, I felt safe trying the waffle. She told me of the precautionary measures taken (separate waffle iron, cutting boards etc.). Since I just ate it, I will be several hours before I know if I have a reaction. This waffle would have been edible had it not been slightly undercooked. The first rule I have discovered making my own gluten free waffles (not begian style) is that they need a bit longer to cook. Theirs is a Belgian style waffle and about an inch thick. I am curious if they cooked it as long as they should have because it was not golden brown. The texture was doughy. It wasn't the worst thing I have eaten, but it will deter me from ordering any food here again. I ate part of it and packed the rest of it up to bake in my air fryer to finish cooking it. That is if I don't have a gluten reaction.

I will return because the coffee is fabulous!! I will likely NOT...

I had a Chocolate Croissant and their Sweet Matcha with soy milk and Strawberry Cold Foam.

The chocolate croissant was actually Nutella, so heads up for anyone with a nut allergy. It was flaky and very fresh, but I do wish I was given the option to warm it up.

I asked questions about the matcha and the girls behind the counter were knowledgeable. If you see the bamboo whisk, you know you're getting good matcha; especially if you can see their hands whisking in the proper form.

Alternative milk is an upcharge here, unlike some other coffee shops.

The strawberry cold foam had a natural flavor and wasn’t as sweet as normal cold foams from most places; It also had the consistency of more of a whipped cream than cold foam, but still good. The natural sweetness of the strawberries without added sugars blended well with the sugar level of the sweet matcha.

Some coffee beans they’re selling go towards proceeds like those with disabilities and first responders.

However, seeing as they opened during Pride month, and it was called “Just Love”, I was hoping to see some LGBTQ+ friendly things here. Hopefully next time I visit I will see something that helps those of that culture feel welcome too.

Otherwise this place is good. Lots of options and they seem well prepared...

I hate leaving a bad review because the drinks are good but after TWO bad experiences I have to. My first time here i had a great experience. Im a drive through girl, my mom and I ordered two iced coffees and they were delicious! Second time here I ordered a refresher drink and she says pull around for the total. I pull up and she taps the screen for me to pay and I see her adding a tip without asking me and then turning it over says $12!! Dude for ONE large drink and I was so confused cause I was thinking like max $7 for a refresher!! I ask why $12? She was rude and said oh you don’t want to tip? I don’t want to tip DOUBLE THE PRICE LIKE WHAT?!? I paid my $7 and left but the drink was very good so I went back with my mom and we got refreshers again. My mom paid and then we thought about the total and why is was $20 for two drinks. I asked for a receipt and they up charged for adding boba and cold foam and said they miss heard me ordering. Thing is our order they handed to me out the window beforehand was just how we wanted it. There was no boba or cold foam!! Like huh?!? I talked to the manager and he refunded me. I will not be going back because I believe the girls here are stealing from the customers without...
