Hot Coffee and waiting for unwarmed pastries in my mobile order. We have patronized this Starbucks every Sunday for 2+ years. Today, I ordered pastries with our drinks via the mobile order app. Drinks were ready but the pastries were not. Since we didn't request the pastries warmed, I went to the main counter to get the pastries because I thought they forgot them being busy and all. I was polite, even said "Pardon me....." when I asked about the pastries, the attendant (Christina) was so dismissive with an attitude, "When it's ready it will be at the end of the counter," she said. So, I have half an order and then I'm given an attitude for asking about it? My coffee will be cold while I wait for 2 pastries that should have been ready with the rest of the mobile order? Christina pointed to the bags of food ready waiting for the food prep individual to put them on the end of the counter. So I went back down to the end of th counter. When mine weren't in that drop off. I asked him personally, yet Christina felt the need to insert herself into that conversation. So I asked for a manager. Well, the manager was making drinks....and said he heard me being rude. WHAT?! He heard my frustration but over looked Christina's initial dismissive, nasty response that was the cause of my frustration. Can't say I'm surprised by that. Why else would an employee speak to me in such a way in the first place unless she new she had the license/managerial backing to do so. I asked for a refund. Christina told me to get in line. I got in line to get the refund and Christina walked away from the register when it was my turn. Again, she didnt say 'one moment' or 'excuse me,' she just walked off; and she did this in front of her manager who said nothing about the behavior. The young lady who came over to help me apologized for the issue and I thanked her for that, but Christina should have been the one to apologize because she started this issue with her dismissive and nasty reply to my inquiry about the pastries (that didnt even have to be warmed). Most Starbucks attendants would have reached in, grabbed the cold pastries and I would have been on my way. I was surprised she didn't do that and responded in such a nasty way. Starbucks was wrong to begin with--- letting the coffee get cold while waiting for pastries. As others have said on this thread, Customer service is just as important as the coffee, and this kind of treatment was completely unnecessary. I hope management addresses this to ensure a better experience for customers. I realize this will be just a post, considering the manager's response in the store any response, if at all, will be...
Read moreLet me just start this by saying if I'm taking the time to post this I am very unhappy. I have been getting coffees here for years and this was very disheartening. I placed a mobile order @12:52 to be ready @ 1:01. But it wasn't so I went back out to my car to wait a few more minutes. They were not what I would call busy for a Starbucks nor a short staffed I've seen both. I Went back inside only to One drink was ready. So I decided to stand there and wait assuming my 2nd would be ready soon. The person who was preparing it printed the label and I could hear them ask the person who was making drinks for the drive-thru. What an extra shot in my cafe vanilla drink was the person told her and she proceeded to start pumping into my cup. Meanwhile, an employee who looked like they may have been management walked up and said something about a previous drink that had been made and pulled them from making my drink and put them on the drive-thru window taking orders. She then set my cup on the counter and went to drive-thru. Another person walked up and just started grabbing tickets and making drinks Meanwhile I'm still standing there waiting, other customers are walking in getting drinks walking out. The person that's making drinks for the drive-thru has at this point made eye contact with me several times and still says nothing. Finally after waiting 30 minutes I see my cup get picked up by the person who's making drinks for the drive-thru. They look at the label pours the contents in the cup into another cup. So I say thank you, I've been waiting for that drink over 30 minutes. They turn their head look at me, and proceeds to say this drink is for such and such. I was fuming at that point stating I have been waiting for my drink for over 30 minutes and the first drink in my order has been sitting on the bar for 20 minutes melting. So the person pushing the drinks out for the dining room and the mobile orders finally says it's coming right up. Okay he makes my drink sets it on the counter and nothing. Not a Thank you, sorry or even have a good day! This is by far the worst experience at a Starbucks I have ever had. In fact, I am shocked that these are the people that are representing...
Read moreMy rating always seem to be driven by visit. It started as 5 stars. With the last visits i have to be honest and give rating earned. Ever since day ONE of the sugar plum Danish hitting the menu i have not gotten one. Went every single location near me and nope, none there. Then, 3 times in a row my sugar cookie latte didn’t even get sprinkles. Or whipped cream. I parked and went inside to complain, was told sorry, we ran out of the Danish and sprinkles. They could have told me that when i ordered it, right??? I am so sorry, but if you KNOW your offering something for the holidays, and yet NEVER had it in the store to sale, I am calling BS and false advertisement. Making 14 visits, daily for the month of Dec, and to different locations to only be told we sold out??? Not cool. Getting the 3drinks, 3 times in a row, without whipped cream or sprinkles, and not being told hey, we are out of sprinkles is such a huge let down. I shouldn’t have to ASK. You should TELL me. I will now reconsider going here anymore. Being told as i place my order is expected. It’s the norm. I am treated like a number and nope, not cool. I could have ordered something else, but after such a HUGE long line, slow slow drive thru, (really sad that people order more than three drinks and hold up line), i am ever increasingly disenfranchised and will use rest of money i loaded and then bye bye Starbucks. You have lost a 16 year customer. More than happy to go back to mccafe. The coffee is just as good, cheaper, and FASTER to get it to me in Drive thru. It’s just coffee and it isn’t that hard to actually pour it faster. Shaking my head. And i have been singing sugar plum song my whole life and have never even had one. It was dancing in my head with excitement. Beyond disappointed that you got my hopes up to finally have a try of one yet that hope...
