I just had the most odd experience here. My friend got her and I a drink, no problem. We sat in the parking lot for barely a few minutes when we realized we forgot to ask for a water so I went through the drive thru and was told I wasnāt allowed to get a water without a purchase and that threw me for a loop as Iāve always been able to get a water with no problem but I can understand if that is their new policy I wasnāt going to argue. Immediately after I pulled forward I realized we did in fact make a purchase but simply forgot to ask forgot to ask for a water so I figured I could explain that to them at the window. I explained and she asked if she could see the sticker on my cup to which I turned it to show her only to realize it wasnāt there and was immediately given a skeptical attitude which again threw me for for another loop cause normally Iām met with hospitality and understanding where here I was met with the opposite. She starts immediately saying the drink wasnāt from this store which leaves me so confused because we did in fact make a purchase there so I just stated that it was actually from there but drove off because she had already walked away prior to me being able to defend myself. I drove off to park next to my friend again who was waiting for me and told her what happened to which she then said she is the one who took the sticker off cause they bother her. I had no idea as I just graciously took the drink cause she grabbed it for me. I understand they still have ever right to deny me service/a water but I just found it quite odd my interaction and how it was handled. I didnāt get to explain myself/stand up for myself cause Iām not one to argue and I get flustered easily so as soon as she shut me down, that was that. Disappointing. Edit. I had already reached out, thank you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAbsurdly nice staff. I just spent a couple hours here killing time and witnessed some of the best staff in my experience. Despite having recently opened they seemed to personally know most customers (regulars I assume) and make great efforts to be personable to everyone. They seemed to possess the ability to gauge how social their customers are and treat everyone individually wonderfully. I am of the less social variety, book in tow, and they were very nice to me but didn't give me any extra chit chat they subjected (š) other customers to. They left me alone except for the moment I made any indication I required assistance, and even remembered my name over an hour after I gave it to the other employee. I often feel self concious reading in public places, however spending my time here could have only been beat by going home. I will definitely repeat the experience next time I am stuck in Kennedale with time to kill.
Everything was clean, as to be expected with a brand new building. My only two recommendations would be to mark the hallway to the restrooms so I don't have to assume it's down the hallway (I mean, it probably is, I'm aware that's the only likely place for it, but what if I'm crazy and missed a door or something and this is an employees only hallway?) and it could stand a bit more comfortable seating. Most of the seating is uncomfortable looking wooden chairs and a huge booth/couch thing. Nothing really "come and stay a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is the best Starbucks store with the NICEST people. I have grown up in Mansfield and am a frequent customer at multiple locations. I have never had a bad experience at this store.
I would like to personally shout out Jose, who has been working at Starbucks at least 10 years now. Jose has been graciously and happily serving customers since I was in high school, making Starbucks runs and being late to class. Fast forward 10 years and I have moved back in the area after graduating college and was so excited to see Jose! Not only was he the same kind person with the warmest smile, but, he remembered me too, or at least so kindly pretended he did! I see him often in the mornings when I am making my daily Starbucks run and now being late to work, LOL. He always makes a point to smile and say hi while working bar, no matter how in the weeds he may be. Seeing Jose and getting a little touch of nostalgia each time I visit has become my favorite morning ritual.
THANK YOU, JOSE!! :) We love you and see all your hard work!!! Never stop being such a...
