I have never ever experienced a bad customer service experience in any Starbucks before. Except this one...In fact, Starbucks is known for their excellent customer service reputation- except for this one. All I asked is if a Frappuccino was gluten- free. The response from a man in his maybe 50’s wearing glasses replied “ we have sugar-free” . When I repeated my question, he replied, “I don’t know”. I asked him “ could you check or ask someone else” he replied, “ ask who ?, nobody is here”. Lol, he says this while one more staff member was right behind him. When I suggest asking her or checking the box it comes in, he replies. “There’s no box”. The woman also was not sure and pointed to a -can’t guarantee ‘ policy. She looked sincere at the least and not annoyed like he was with my question or suggestion. Mind you, it was a rainy day with absolutely no customers in line too :). It’s apparent there is lack of training here. My teen said he did not trust them to make any coffee beverage at all. So we took our money elsewhere....
Read moreI would give this place 5 stars but the reason for 2 is the fact that the night shift employees are 9x out of 10 rude, disrespectful, and will treat you like crap IF they make your drink wrong and you ask them to please make it right. I have personally had this problem 5+ times and told management; but seems that these employees must either not care or are two-faced to upper management. If you're company says "if we don't make it right tell your barista and we'll make it right" but you give attitude when you made it wrong and I'm asking nicely for it to be made again right; don't get mad when you get fired! After my experience today, I will always go to the Lee Heights location, where I have always had positive experiences. Today, I ordered a Cordusio, which took a long time to make. When I got the drink, I took a couple of sips and it didn’t taste right. I went back to the counter where the barista explained that the store had run out of an important ingredient. He had made the drink and given it to me without mentioning the problem. Even after admitting the mistake, he didn’t offer a replacement drink or anything.
