Read moreHere's a run down of my experience sitting at the bar:
Service: Bartender was attentive. However, she made a drink I didn't order. When I told the bartender I asked to check on me for a new order in a few minutes, not make the same drink, they acknowledged misunderstanding me, but the service became chilly.
Drinks: Their wine list is grocery store varieties. Columbia Crest, Chateau Ste. Michelle, etc.
Food: I had the bread and macaroni and cheese with pulled pork. Small portion, barely 2 ounces of pork, sauce not prepared well and some of the pasta dry. The bread did not come with enough butter for all pieces. Unacceptable at $8 for bread service.
Other things: Font on the drink menu is too small to read in a dimly lit environment (I have nearly perfect vision and don't require glasses).
The door to the kitchen was constantly open. Two shelves of cleaning supplies were visible.
I'll try again in a few months. Pretty disappointing, especially because Arlington needs more cool places to...
Read moreStopped in for lunch unexpectedly and gave this place a try. The menu boasted a lot of delicious items but my mom and I both decided on the beef dip sandwich with side salad. And it came tossed in dressing which made every bite delicious.
The server was very nice, apparently she is one of the owners. She made sure to communicate my allergy with the kitchen and knew the ingredients in the food, so I felt confident in being able to eat there.
We didnât try any beverages but I will definitely be back and would love to try a cocktail or two. The seats were comfortable and the atmosphere is clean and modern with a rustic twist. Some flowers or candles on the table would just be the little touch of warmth the place needs in my opinion....
