The food is five stars. Fresh and well priced. The bread is made there and really tasty. However, I am disappointed that they have bowls/plates that they wash but provide all disposal utensils and cups. I would give it five stars if for then to have reusable utensils and cups that get washed instead just trashing. I would think a place like this with a healthy more modern thinking would be better at providing earth conscious options.
Their recycling bin is confusing and doesn't list off what can be recycled, so people end up throwing away things that can be recycled.
Also, the vegetables options are wonderful however they have dishes like the pesto & sun-dried tomato (which is usually vegetarian) but they only offer it with meat. They should offer it vegetarian with the upgrade cost of meat versus making you omit meat and not lowering the price.

Read moreMy wife and I love Urbane Cafe. We were huge fans of the SLO location and frequented it back in college. We were ecstatic that an Urbane opened up in the 5 Cities area. This location is decent, but we have had a number of consistent issues. One of the main ones is that sauces are often half filled, such as dressings for salads or extra sides we have paid for. Unfortunately, the minor customizations we like to make to our meals are not doable on the App so we always call our order in. The staff is kind, but the QA ensuring order accuracy is not the best. I have had to call in and go back for missing items more than once. The cookies are also often too hard, as if they were over cooked or left to petrify under the heating lamp for too long. We will continue to frequent this location as we enjoy the food as a healthier quick option and I hope the consistency and quality of service gets...
Read moreIf you're looking for good food at awesome prices in arroyo grande area I'd highly recommend checking out Urbane Cafe. The wait time is always super quick, everything tastes great, and it definitely feels like you're eating real food. You can see and taste all the individual ingredients and there's a freshness to it that seems to be lacking most other places for a quick meal. I had the chicken poblano soup and the cranberry brie sandwich and I will DEFINITELY be coming back for them again. I got the cup of soup. Should have gone for the bowl because I am still mourning the fact that I could have had more and denied myself. Give it a try, you'll be impressed. Get the dragonfruit Agua Fresca. Your taste buds will be transported to paradise via Dragon back which is...
