Grocery Outlet — Local services in Arroyo Grande

Reasons why this store is ALWAYS (always) the better option (and by a mile) compared to Walmart, Vons, etc:

1. It is ALWAYS, from the floors to the bathrooms to the carts and parking lot, EXPONENTIALLY cleaner than any other grocer in town, especially Walmart and Vons.

2. It is the ONLY place in town with deals on high quality healthy (and often comfort foods too) that you will not find anywhere else because. The best part is that the items are at unbeatable prices because it is what it is, an outlet store, and and 5+ years of buying discounted items from this grocer I have not come across one that has been defective in any way— this is just the superior perk and blessing that is unique to Grocery Outlet stores! There is also no other grocer with such a large variety of items also with the greatest healthy brands at a great price point. Expect to pay 3-5 times more, at Vons especially. If not ten fold more. (Not kidding)

3. All Grocery Outlets are independently operated by private owners, so you get all of the feel-good benefits of helping small business owners while not feeding into the mechanized system of corporate greed fueled values. I sleep much better knowing that the money I spend is going to a hardworking wholesome family in a community that I love— not towards someone third yacht or time share.

4. Employees. The lovely cashiers SUSAN and LINDA and manager ANGELICA have been at this store for years and they are likely the primary reason(s) I so enthusiastically recommend this business.

In summary, I highly recommend taking a detour from your next grocery trip in 5 cities and looking around the Grocery Outlet on West Branch Street.

I was also able to pick up two very high skateboards for my nephew’s for Christmas at $10 each. I looked up the identical board up on Amazon and it sold for $40 each shipped with prime.

This place is UNBEATABLE, and that is indebatable.

This store is kind of disappointing to me I was super excited when they opened, because there isn't anywhere in AG that has good deals. They're all expensive! But they just don't carry as much as the SLO store does. So I go all the way to SLO still. I very rarely come here. The staff is so unfriendly. I've yet to come across someone that's easy to talk to here. I do recommend them as a way to save money. Because even if it's this grocery outlet it another I save in average the same exact or not more than I spend. I shop 1 time a month and spend about 250+ but save 250+. It's very nice to save money. I do appreciate them!! The last thing is, like everyone else is saying you do have things that are different names than that of what we are use to. But most of the time it's better than your think. I will change my name brands for cheaper any day!! I'm not picky as long as it's good!!

Update the other day I went at 815 their carts were completely locked and not one was available to use. We asked for one and the girls said well we are closing in 30 min. Well then the carts shouldn't be locked up until then. Can you please get us a cart. Rolls her eyes looks outside and starts checking out the next customer. We left and won't be back. This is one of our fav GO's in SLO County. The owners here are very hard working and very involved in customer service. One owner seems to be doing stockwork, arranging displays, running the cash register, and more. The hard work seems to be appreciated by both customers and employees. In general, the employees here are generally more friendly than at some locations. The store is clean and very well run.
