As if there aren't enough boba shops in Cerritos/Artesia, It's Boba Time Café has set up shop in the 99 Ranch plaza, by Ten Ten Seafood Restaurant.

To appeal to the tweeners, youngin's and for older folks looking for some old school fun, board games are available.

I haven't had shaved ice in a very long time, and being a warm, sunny March day, shaved ice sounded really good.

Deluxe shaved ice- Crushed ice, red bean, bananas, kiwi, mango, strawberry, mocha, vanilla ice cream, multi-grain powder, condensed milk & boba coffee. Surprisingly a lot in a small bowl, the deluxe proved to be satisfying & sweet. However, not overly sweet. I tend not to like too much sugar nowadays, but this had just the right amount of sweetness. The mocha were nice & chewy, the vanilla ice cream smooth, the fruit just a tad below frozen. The crushed ice had a good texture and sopped up all the condensed milk & coffee wonderfulness. Did I mention it was crazy cold? Like, my man nipples could cut diamonds cold? Like, they could cut Wakandan armor cold? (Black Panther reference, y'all) Yeah, that cold.

it's Boba Time Café also offers slushes, smoothies, coffee, tea, froyo, juice, waffles & honey toast, among others. For savory fare, there are selections such as sandwiches, pizza & popcorn chicken.

A good amount of seating in an interior with a clean, modern décor. The A/C kept things nice & cool for customers, whether they're there for studying or just hanging out. Service was good and the wait wasn't too long for my shaved ice.

Parking is in a private lot at the 99 Ranch plaza, with It's Boba Time Café being on the right of Ten Ten Seafood Restaurant.

Don't BYOB(boba), just head to It's Boba Time Cafe. My Deluxe shaved ice hit the spot & I have no regrets cheating on my diet. Which, by chance, happens more often than not. The prices are comparable to nearby competitors and the varied menu has something that appeals to everyone. Next time I'm in the plaza, there's a high percentage that I'll come in & order something sweet for me to eat (or drink).

Boba time is an adequate place to purchase a variety of milk teas, ice blended drinks, and comfort snacks. The environment of this particular location is lively, it offers a multitude of party board games such as janga, playing cards, etc. making it a highly suggested place to hang out with friends with relative cleanliness. The ice blended drinks are always on par in terms of quality and never disappoint your taste buds, I particularly enjoy the oreo ice blended drink here. However, there are some factors that this location lacks at, the Milk teas are a great hit or miss for customers. In some occasions I have receive my Milk teas in a powdery consistency which is unpleasant in my experience. The lack of smooth creaminess of a Milk tea is a frequent downgrade in quality which is quite disappointing for what you get.

Overall, the environment is definitely worth the experience here however the Milk teas may be something that you will want...

I've been waiting for a solid tea place where they serve quality drinks, at the same time, provide nice ambiance to chat and chill with friends. This newly established Boba Time certainly has those qualities and I am loving it. I tried their different milk teas, mixed tea/coffee drink, and mango fruit smoothy. They did not disappoint!
