My husband and I really wanted to like this place. We went a few times when they first opened. We understand that new restaurants will need some time to find their footing. However, one incident that occurred has all but ruined the place for us. It was our 3rd time there. My husband ordered an eggs benedict. When it was delivered to the table, the egg was completely raw. I don't mean under cooked. I mean that egg did not have any sort of cooking done to it. It was cracked on top of the meal and sent out. When we called the waitress over and stated the egg was raw, she said, "I don't eat eggs, so I don't know what they are supposed to look like." I gave them 2 stars, because the first visit was pretty good. They gave me a meal I didn't order, but it was still tasty. The second time was okay as well. A few aspects were overlooked, but nothing major. However, the raw egg was a major health hazard and highly alarming. We just can't wrap our heads around how that could have even happened. We think the raw egg and high prices are not worth it. I do however want to try the location in Centennial as my mom has said nothing but positives things.
Update: I have yet to decide if I will reach out to management per the reply to my review. However, I do want to respond to one aspect of the reply apologizing for the "undercooked" egg. First, I appreciate the apology and understand things can happen. However, I absolutely want to stress that the egg was NOT undercooked. It was 100% raw. It had been cracked over the meal and sent out without an ounce of cookery done to the egg. We could even overhear the staff whispering about how the egg was raw and how could that have happened. Our other concern was that not only did a cook prepare the dish like that, but a runner brought it out without checking it, and the server had no idea the difference between a cooked vs raw egg. It passed by 3 people, and no one saw the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI passed by this place a few times while visiting a friend this week. I finally decided to try it out and I was not disappointed! From the menu variety, to the artistry and presentation of the food, I was very impressed, to say the least! My waitress, Rebekah, was kind, professional, and very efficient. I had my order in and food ready within 15 minutes, and it was busy when I came in!
Let me tell you about the food and drink, though 𤤠! I indulged in the "Cinnamon Toast Cereal Milk" since I am a fan of Rum and a 90's kid at heart (Cinnamon Toast Crunch for the win ^/^ ) . It was smooth, with a good cold brew coffee base, mellow cinnamon undertones and a few little bursts of sweetness where the coconut milk and agave nectar agglomerated.
The food was delightful and delectable in equal measure. The pumpkin pancake was large, decently thick, and fluffy. The pumpkin flavor was very reminiscent of pumpkin pie (shocker, I know š¤Æ), with just a hint of that seasonal pumpkin spice. Just imagine a warm, fluffy pumpkin pie flavored pancake, ahh, that's the stuff!
The eggs, not to be outdone, were fluffy in equal or greater measure, and a light salting sharpened the flavor appreciably. Last, but certainly not least, was the sausage, which honestly was the most pleasant surprise for me. I'm usually indifferent when it comes to sausage, because while it tastes fine, it usually has an overpowering rich fatty taste. Not this sausage, though! I just reread the menu again and realized it was Chicken Sausage, so that's why, lol. Still! The flavor was phenomenal, but not overpowering compared to regular breakfast sausage. It was both distinctly pronounced, while at the same time not in your face. What a way to finish a gourmet breakfast, in my humble opinion.
Thank you First Watch for a memorable first time and a delicious breakfast! I'll be sure to continue my patronage when I...

Two Sundays ago stopped in for a fantastic breakfast, Granola banana pancakes ( One of my Favorites). Basically no changes since last review, food is very good and RESTROOM very clean. A computer glitch put a small $3.60 beverage charge error on my VISA which I did not notice for a couple days, no big deal but since I was going passed a few days later pulled in, showed the manager who remembered me, he was very sorry and whipped out $20.00 gift card on the spot. Now that was completely unexpected
