My family and I had the pleasure of dining at Malone Clubhouse Grill this past weekend, and I must say, it was nothing short of spectacular! Let me start off by complimenting the fantastic ambiance. The restaurant boasts a warm, inviting atmosphere that truly sets the stage for a memorable culinary delight.

The service we received was top-notch. From the moment we set foot inside, the friendly staff at Malone Clubhouse Grill made us feel right at home and accommodated all our needs with a genuine smile. Even when our toddler accidentally knocked over his water cup, soaking the table, our server and another staff member graciously helped us with the cleanup and went out of their way to bring us a fresh serving of salsa, all without making us feel embarrassed.

Our waiter was good.... The only saving Grace for an otherwise mediocre at best experience. We don't have a lot of money, and we rarely dine out, so when we do, we expect our experience to be worth it. It happened to be my birthday dinner, and it was unmemorable to put it nicely. Our food was sub-par, and took forever to come out. We had to ask for things repeatedly, and wait unacceptable amounts of time to finally receive them. When my husband reluctantly asked for a manager, (we really don't like to complain, as we understand things happen, and were sympathetic to the fact that they were busy, but this was a special occasion and it was one thing after another), he was pointed in the direction of the bar where the manager apparently was tending. She heard my husband's feedback, but rather than offer an apology, or offer to comp some of our tab, if not all of it, or give us a dining voucher for another dinner another time, or a discount or SOMETHING that would be a reflection of good business, she proceeded to complain to him that she was short-staffed, had several workers not show up or walk out that night, and proceeded to attend bar while turning him away.... I couldn't believe it! We're not looking for a handout, and I don't like bad-mouthing a place; maybe they were just having a really bad night. We made a special trip here a few Sundays ago and all I can say is i'm disgusted! We did get seated quickly and was able to sit on the patio. We sat there without being greeted for at least 9 min. No one has even come to get out drink orders... While we are still waiting 3 of the young girls working went out by the front to smoke cigarettes and their vape pens. So we walked in to see if we could get service. The waitress did come out finally and she was flustered ! We felt bad cause she was working hard and was obviously under poor management and the rest of the staff is lazy! She got our order for drinks and food at the same time since at this point its been 18 min without service. During the 20 min we waited for food (which is no problem) we were constantly observing the three girls continuing to come out to smoke and flirt with guys who were joining them for the smoke break. They were bad mouthing (foul mouths) about their job and co workers. It was so disgusting to smell smoke and watch these workers have social hour(s). No wonder service sucked they are busy drinking, smoking, chatting and flirting. It ruined our appetite and we wont be back! The waitress was great and friendly and kept apologizing the food is good too bad the staff is terrible otherwise! We were there at 8:15 ish on Sunday...
