I really don’t like to do this. All I’m asking for is to find another alternative other than downloading the mobile app and ordering through the app. The story is I stopped at the Petro truck stop (truck driver) to get breakfast (2 Sausage McMuffins with egg). When I approached the main entrance to the dining hall, there’s a sign that says, dining room closed to remodeling. So I see a McDonald’s employee outside and I asked him since the inside is closed, how do I order. He stated go through the drive thru. Ok thanks. I approached both drive thrus and no response. So I decided to walk up to the Pay Here window to see if I could place my order. I told the cashier at the window the situation and she told me basically it’s for cars and that I would have to place the order on the mobile app. I didn’t want to do that because I was on a timely manner and my cell phone reception is poor. So downloading the mobile app wouldn’t of worked. So I asked to speak to the manager please. I spoke to the manager very sweet and polite young lady heard my issue and the dining room being closed and so forth. She told me to place an order in the app. I told her I didn’t wanna do that for the previous reason I told the cashier. She manager kept insisting me to order via the app. I tried to restated the reason again. I also went through the trouble of parking my semi truck at the Petro truck stop, and walking to McDonald’s and go through the drive thru to just try to get my breakfast. After some time has been wasted, the manager decided to just place my order via the drive thru which was what I wanted in the first place. I thank them for placing my order. Unfortunately there was a line of cars waiting for me to just move along. I’m not gonna lie, it was pretty embarrassing unpleasant and disappointing experience. So my order was placed and I went to the pick up window to get my order and that part went well. I said thank you and went along my way. This could of been avoided, I mean I wasted 15-20 minutes just trying to get some food. I just wanted my 2 sausage McMuffins with egg, that’s all I wanted to do. I’ve been to other McDonald’s around the US that their dining rooms were close and they happily were able to take my order through the drive thru with no issues at all. Not even can download the mobile app. You guys need to come up with another alternative just just taking the order via the drive thru or something. This could of been done in 5 minutes or less. Hopefully the remodeling gets done quick so I won’t have to go through this...
Read moreAlways stop here to meet up family when we are going hunting for the weekend. Always there around 5:30am. I can understand that we are there at opening time, but I don't understand why this location which happens to be along a major highway is understaffed. It never fails that first thing in the morning on weekends that it gets crowded. The worst part is they don't want to ring you up at the register. They want you to use the self help kiosks. That can take forever to navigate if you are not familiar with them. Plus, if i'm doing the same thing the cashier would be doing, I WANT MY EMPLOYEE DISCOUNT or I WANT MY PAYCHECK!!! Even with that being said it doesn't stop us from still coming here. Just wish it was still about customer service, now it's just about how long I can stand at the front before one of the workers decides to acknowledge me. Also there's a very big health hazard present where they have the water supply line bent and stuffed down the location of what would be the p-trap to waste line connection. There's a thing called backflow, where there is a very real possibility that the waste gets sucked back into the water line in "Back pressure" situations. This contaminates the whole potable water supply. If this water supply is not being used, cap the anglestop the correct way, And put a plug in...
Read moreIf you're looking for a fine dining experience, look no further than McDonald's! The ambiance is unmatched - where else can you find a plastic ball pit and a Ronald McDonald statue all in one place?
But let's talk about the real star of the show here - the sweet tea. This stuff is like liquid gold. It's so sweet, you'll forget about all your problems and start believing that everything in life really is "lovin' it."
And let's not forget about the food. It may not be gourmet, but who needs fancy ingredients when you can get a burger that tastes like nostalgia? The fries are always crispy and the chicken nuggets are, well, chicken nuggets.
But the real reason I keep coming back to this McDonald's location is for the sweet tea. Seriously, it's like crack in a cup. And the best part? You don't even have to tip your server.
In all seriousness though, if you're looking for a quick, cheap meal and some sweet, sweet tea, McDonald's is the place to be. Just don't forget to grab some extra napkins - those burgers...
