I drove from Arlington on a Wednesday afternoon because I heard such great things about this place. I love pho and consider myself a connoisseur. This place not only hits the spot but satisfies beyond your standard expectations. This restaurant is centrally located in One Loudoun center right next World of Beer. When you walk in, you enjoy the nice ambiance of the restaurant with traditional Vietnamese music and a upscale feel for dining. The staff (Joe and his cousin) were super friendly and helpful with sharing what to order and what they recommend. I got the Bo Nuong Hanh (Grilled Beef with Onion), Pho Dac Biet large (House Special Combination: steak, flank, fatty brisket, soft tendon, tripe, skirt flank and meatballs) and the Ca Phe Sua Da (French Expresso w/ Condensed Milk (Ice). The food came all promptly and the service was great because I was super hungry! I ate the 4 pieces of Bo Nuong Hanh all by myself and the pho too! The portion sizes were perfect (even though I am a tiny Asian girl I can certainly eat a lot)! The beef broth was clear and you can tell the soup was the result of long hours of brewing. The meat portions were generous too! Make sure you try their special spicy sauce that you have to ask for. It was exhilarating and definitely a good complement to the pho and Bo Nuong Hanh! I even ordered more food to go because I did not want to cook dinner tonight. I will definitely be back to Pho-nomenal (love the name!) for the food It is worth the drive all the way from Arlington but next time I will definitely bring my family and friends who live in Maryland and DC area even though it is a drive! Thanks Pho-Nomenal for a Pho-tastic experience! -Shirley H.

Holy Pho!!! This place is phenomenal. No exaggeration when I say this bowl of Hue Beef Spicy Soup is the best bowl I have ever had at a pho restaurant. Not sure if it’s pho, but delicious nevertheless. You can see the before and the aftermath. That bowl of spicy warmness had zero chance on a cool May evening. The broth was slurpilicious and plenty of beef. The beef was not bland either. It had its own flavor. They provide the perfect amount of sprouts, cabbage and Thai basil. For the fans of heat, the spices in the soup with fresh peppers created an awesome kick. Not unbearable to the point where your taste buds no longer function. I had to add additional fresh jalapeño and chili oil to bring it around to perfect heat. Forgot to mention the care of the staff being that I’m still pho-drunk. They sat me immediately. Water was placed as I sat—nobody does that anymore! You can tell the place is good by the sheer amount of patrons, Dashers, Ubers, to-gos, online orders that came and got them or others a hug-in-a-bowl. I didn’t try anything else but if this B8 dish is any indication of the other offerings, well I guess I must sacrifice some time and go try some more.

my boyfriend & i have been coming here since they opened & it never disappoints! there’s such a kind & warm family vibe when you enter. they always greet you & send you off with a smile 😊. the lemongrass pork banh mí is one of our favorite things to get to share - highly recommend if you want to try one but also want to have pho!! 🍜 it was really cold & windy today, so we decided to of course go to Phonomenal. i asked one of the waitresses, Chloe, which refresher is her favorite because i couldn’t pick between two & always wanted to try one. she said not to worry and if i didn’t like one she’d make me a different one. as if that wasn’t already so kind, 5 minutes later someone comes back with both, and she comes by and says that the other is on the house. SO sweet of them. like i said, such a kindhearted family vibe from start to finish. it’s the little things that make this business stand apart (i mean just look at the cute candies they attached to the drinks!) they were the hawaiian dream & lychee limeade refreshers. i guess we were too excited to drink them because we didn’t take a picture til after the fact… 😅 so. good. !!!

Since I ordered from this restaurant for the first time, I ordered Shrimp & Grilled Pork Summer Roll, Pad Thai, and Pork Fried Rice, which are the basic menu of any Thai restaurant and so you can figure out if the restaurant is good or not by comparing them. The result? I wasn't just satisfied with what I ordered but also was very impressed with their neat packaging for delivery. The foods tasted the best among Thai restaurant around the area. I didn't know that the BBQ grilled pork brought out extra flavor in Summer Roll and created the fancy taste! I loved the fact that there are no artificial taste in the foods. I tried Thai Milk Tea adding Bubbles, and the taste was clean and fresh. Bubbles were well cooked and also tasted better than other places because the bubbles themselves weren't too sweet. The very thoughtful way of packing was definitely extra plus! I was so impressed by the plastic wrap around Summer Roll, which prevented them from drying out not to mention about the cooking foil inside of the container and how the garnish and sauces were placed inside. Beverages also came in each with exclusive plastic bag w/ special straw for bubble tea. My place was a bit hard to find, so I had to speak with the restaurant person and the delivery person. They were very nice the way they communicated. I'm so happy to find this place, and hope the branch opens around my area near future. Despite of my fussy taste, and I will definitely order...
